Fantastic Spec Mercedes Sprinter LWB Low Mileage Extended Off-Grid Adventure/Camper Van

This van was designed and built for extended-period, off-grid adventures. It has 600W solar-panels that tilt for extra sun and easy cleaning, 400Ah batteries, 21 litre refillable gas, 144 litre clean water and 55 litre waste water all probably more than other ‘adventure’ vans and meaning you can stay off-grid for longer. It has significantly upgraded security to doors, internally and externally and is stealthy allowing you to park securely and discretely during the day or overnight on streets, roads and car parks in villages, towns and cities avoiding the location limitations and costs of campsites. That said, by carrying a gazebo with picnic table and chairs (not included in sale) the campervan is also at home on campsites if you choose. There is vast storage internally and externally, significantly more than similar vans. The domestics of sink, with separate filtered water, hob and fridge are all full size with ample worktops to cook proper meals. The comfy lounge with dining table converts to a full-size bed for a good night’s sleep wherever parked. The Truma heating and hot water provide ample warmth and the inverter and numerous 3-pin AC and USB sockets make life easy as do the various ceiling and floor level LED lights. In the rear there is a Pioneer audio with bluetooth to play Spotify/Netflix off your phone or tablet through speakers mounted in the rear doors, perfect for watching a movie! The roof-mounted extractor fan and opening skylight combine to provide plentiful daytime light and a cooling breeze over the bed in warmer climes at night. The van is insulated with sheep wool to keep warmth in when cold outside and keep cool inside when warm outside. A full size shower is sited in the wc with the composting toilet making it easy to dispose of waste greenly without chemicals needing special waste facilities at campsites. All domestics were checked earlier this year by a qualified technician. The designer/previous owner and his partner lived in the van between houses for an extended period in the UK winter and described the van as a studio on wheels – it really is that comfortable!
The van is built on the super reliable 2010 Mercedes Sprinter 313 CDi which is mechanically excellent with 9 months MOT and a full-service immediately prior to out recent Arctic adventure. The van is low mileage (73,700) averaging over 32mpg. The cab is separate to the living accommodation so no rattles and drives like a car. With 3 seats and under bench storage, the cab has a Pioneer DAB with Apple and Android Auto for Spotify, Google Maps etcetera. There is a reversing camera.
Whilst a very-high spec van, its all about the adventure! This van allows you to travel wherever you wish in comfort and style and we have had superb adventures both in the UK and from the Arctic Circle in the north of Europe to Portugal in the South. We are sorry to see the van go but having done our journeys we expect to holiday in Canada in the coming years following our son moving abroad.
The van is freshly repainted and immaculate inside ready for its next adventurers to fulfil their journey ambitions. The current personalised number plate (HE07VAN ‘Seventh Heaven’) is included.
