For sale our Ford Transit Custom Campervan. Lovingly named by our children “Yellow Sunny Van”
This van is a one-off fully βoff gridβ conversion with high end products.
Features:
Skyline Poptop with upgraded maritime laguna green scenic canvas. It completely unzips when you wish to enjoy a great breeze or a beautiful view. Bi-fold roof bed, a double hinge that gives an additional 6/8 inches of head room towards the back and a mattress to fit the bed and the mattress can stay up there when the roof is lowered. The roof also has roof bars fitted. (Total cost of roof and beds – Β£4270)
The van sleeps 4 – 2 adults can easily sleep in the pop top and then there are bunk beds over the driver and passenger seats that 2 children can sleep (I was told the bunk beds are suitable for children up to 12).
The van has ben fully insulated and sound deadened on the metal frame. The rear of the van has two seats that have been professional installed on a rail system. They can be secured in any position in the rear of the van. The seats installed have been crash tested. The floor is an Altro floor, which is a harden vinyl floor (the same floor they use in the London Underground trains).
The walls of the van have been covered with stretch carpet to give the van a professional look throughout. It has a double swivel seat installed on the front bench (safety tested).
Hand made kitchen cupboards, with soft close drawers. Solid oak worktop with a live edge. Hidden toilet cupboard with heavy duty drawer runners, and plenty of cupboard space for food. Brand new unused 12V fridge. It also comes with a sink mounted on the worktop and a 57 litre tank which is positioned over the wheel arch. The water pump has an on off switch located next to the sink, to easily turn it on or off. There is also a shower point in the rear of the van, perfect for showering dogs or children before they get back in the van!
Handmade rear cupboard that can fit 6 Ikea boxes for clothes and other stuff you have.
In the boot, there is another hand made cupboard that fits 3 Ikea boxes, perfect for storing all tools, bbq, shoes etc.
Electrics – 2 x 100amp leisure batteries. It has 270W solar panels mounted on the roof, Victron mppt charger. It has the Victron battery to battery charger, so when driving the batteries will also charge off the alternator. It has a Victron 375W inverter installed and off the inverter has 3 plug sockets to use. There are multiple USB points in the van, including one USB point that you can use when the roof is popped up. The van has 6 LED lights that are on dimmer switches, and a LED strip under the sliding door that turns on when the door is opened.
The van is HPI clear and has a full service history. It comes with air conditioning (AC), electric windows, hill start, bluetooth hands free, electric mirrors, 6 speed manual gear box. This van has a rear tailgate. So on those rainy days, you can put the tailgate up and shelter from the rain. This is an ex AA van and has the higher pay load of 3.5 tons. It has done only 97,000 miles.
