Ford Transit Custom
Here we have my Ford Transit Custom Campervan. I’ve been using the van as camper/works van for the last few years. A really trusty and reliable van, I’m only selling it as I need a bigger vehicle for work as a cabinet maker.
Its a 65 plate, with 172000 miles on the clock. It been really well maintained, with one pervious owner before me. It comes with a full service history and 5 keys. Apparently the previous owner had a problem with misplacing keys then finding them again! The body work is in pretty good nick, there’s a few dints and scrapes, like what you’d expect with a van with these miles.
MOT till November 2026
It has a 2.2l euro 5 diesel engine with a timing chain instead of the more modern and unreliable wet belt you see on more modern Transits.
It comes with a big heavy duty roof rack, perfect for bikes, kayaks or surfboards.
Campervan Features.
It has been fully insulated, clad with hardwood ply and tongue and groove ceiling.
It has a 100ah leisure battery with a split charge relay and 12v fuse box.
Dimmable spot lights and 2 reading lights.
USB charging ports.
Foldable sofa bench/bed, with two big drawers and duvet cupboard below. This works really well with a futon mattress. Is really easy to pull out.
Wall racking with fold down birch ply table.
Over head locker storage.
Tinded Window in the back and little opening for the cab, both with blinds.
I made a little modular kitchen that can be put at the back doors. I’m planning on keeping this, but if someone was interested I could make a new one.
Its a really trusty little van, primed and ready for some summer adventures!
There’s a few lights on the dashboard currently (traction control, ABS and air bag). It needs the front wheel barings changing. I have been quoted £400 to sort this, which i can get done or alternatively im happy to knock that off the asking price. My mechanic has told me its still safe to drive, so it doesnt need fixing immediately. I just thought id mention this for total transparency.
Location is Leeds LS5.

Cheers!
I converted it myself. I work as a self employed cabinet maker, so have done quite a few conversions over the years
