Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

The van has a 2.2 diesel engine and five gears. Up until January 2022, it had a full service every 12 months. Since January 2022, it has had a full service every 12 months and an oil and filter change every 6 months. All of the fluid systems have been flushed and refilled, and the following mechanical work has been carried out. It comes with two keys, a new MOT, and a fresh service.

• New timing chain.
• New injectors and seals.
• Inlet manifold has been removed and cleaned, with new seals fitted.
• New thermostat, water pump, oil cooler and EGR valve.
• New battery and alternator.
• New front tyres.
• New rear brake pads, discs and wheel bearings.
• New rear leaf springs and front arms.

The bodywork is in excellent condition for the age. There are no major scuffs or scratches. The following work has been carried out during the conversion:
• The sills, underside and wheels have been brushed back and painted.
• Protective body panels have been fitted around the sides of the van and the wheel arches.
• Front door sill protectors have been fitted.
• Wind deflectors have been fitted to the front windows.
• Some of the door seals have been replaced.

Conversion Description

I bought the van as a panel van and have done all of the work myself with the exception of some of the bigger mechanical jobs. It has taken me on some amazing adventures and I will be sad to see it go.

Living space
The rear of the van is insulated with 100% sheep wool insulation. The floor is 18mm plywood covered with wood effect grey vinyl. The walls, ceiling and doors are clad with softwood tongue and groove. Tinted windows have been fitted to the rear doors, and a caravan roof vent fan has been fitted above the bed. The windows and fan have curtains made of wool and blackout fabric. Two large curtains separate the cab and the living space for near 100% blackout.

The living space includes the following:
• Kitchen unit with large sink and cold water tap with electric pump.
• 20L fresh water and 10L waste water (it also fits a 30L fresh water tank which I can supply).
• 1000W induction hob (Buffalo Compact).
• 30L Compressor Fridge on runners (Alpicool X30).
• Remote-controlled black translucent caravan ceiling fan (Zolz).
• 120cm x 170cm slatted bed with wool and bamboo memory foam mattress.
• Lightweight wooden table with Lagun-style mount and two fixing positions.
• Brand new flushing 10L/20L toilet housed in a portable seat (Trail Outdoor Leisure).
• 2KW diesel heater mounted under the passenger seat and tapped into the vehicle’s fuel tank (Maxpeedingrods).
• 4 x dimmable, remote control LED ceiling lights.
• Battery-controlled fairy lights above the kitchen and bed.
• Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire extinguisher.

Storage
There is plenty of storage in different areas throughout the van.
• Above the kitchen and bed are overhead cabinets with gas piston struts allowing them to stay open without needing to be held.
• The kitchen has a spice rack, washing up liquid holder, and large shelf.
• There are large wheel arch storage areas with rear access and hinged lids accessible from inside the van.
• There is also a large garage storage drawer on heavy duty runners.
• The drawer and the bed slats are removeable allowing the van to be used as a cargo van. There is 3m of load space including the cab.

Electrics
All of the sockets are located next to the fridge. There are:
• 2 x 3.0A USB-A sockets.
• 1 x 22.5W USB-A socket.
• 1 x 30W USB-C socket.
• 1 x 100W USB-C socket.
• 4 x A/C outlets.
The electrics run off a 12v 105Ah Lithium Leisure Battery from Fogstar Drift. This battery has been sufficient for daily use of all the appliances by a single male for two years. Additional batteries could be installed should the electrical demands increase. There are two methods of charging the battery:

• 3 x 100W Renogy Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panels managed through a 40A Renogy Rover Li MPPT Solar Charge Controller. The solar panels are wired in series.
• Renogy 40A DC to DC Battery Charger.

The A/C outlets are powered by a GIANDEL 1500W/3000W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter. This inverter is sufficient to run the induction hob whilst charging other devices.

Cab
The interior of the van was stripped back to bare metal which was rust prevented and repainted. In the cab, Jute and PVC matting was fitted to the floor for improved insulation and sound deadening. There are also removable rubber mats under both the footwells. The twin passenger seat has been replaced with a single and both seats have covers fitted. There is a steering wheel cover, sun visor mirrors, and a radio with Bluetooth and hands-free calling via a cigarette lighter adapter.
