Ford Transit 2.2 MWB 140
2.2litre
5 speed manual gearbox
Bodywork had rust problems when we bought it (as with any older transit van) It’s had alot of attention including welding and rust treatment with raptor paint to future proof it.
Bought in 2021, converted in 2023, had lots of long trips to the Lakes and last year undertook the NC500 with ease!
A great base for further upgrades or immediate use!
The van was bare when we bought it, the walls and ceiling have been foil lined, insulated with rockwool and panelled with tongue and grove wood. The floor just has 18mm ply to keep as much internal height possible. Electrics wise; it has a leisure battery in the boot that charges when driven and provides power for the internal spot lights and the usb port. There’s a basin with pumped cold water and storage for waste water, portable toilet (brand new), small fridge (that runs off the leisure battery) It has a sliding window with a curtain, a ceiling vent with fly screen and loads of storage! The bed also folds up into a seated position if required.
This would be ideal for a couple (with or without a dog) to explore the UK without breaking the bank of a fancy fully converted van.
Custom size bed that sleeps two.
