Ford Transit Van LWB H2 L3 Panel Van
71 plate) Ford Transit LWB H2 L3, originally used as a dog unit and later started as a camper conversion project, however I no longer have the time to continue with it as I now have another van. The van has covered 108,052 miles and comes with full service history, just has a fresh MOT done to the van ( MARCH 26TH 2027), runs and drives spot on with no issues at all, and has recently had the wet belt replaced in February which is a major job already done and gives real peace of mind to the next owner. It also had a brand new ply-lined floor fitted in January. The van is in good overall condition, with a few minor dents and light scratches as expected from a working vehicle, all purely cosmetic and nothing that affects how it drives. One of the main features of this van is the fully installed off-grid electrical system, which has been properly set up and makes it ideal for camper conversion or working away. This includes a 500W solar panel mounted on the roof, a 12V 300Ah AMPS lithium (LiFePO4) battery, a Renogy 3000W pure sine wave inverter capable of running 240V appliances, a Renogy MPPT solar charge controller, and a Sterling Power DC-DC charger which allows charging from the engine while driving. The system is a full 3-way charging setup, meaning it charges via solar, alternator and also through a 240V external hook-up socket fitted to the rear of the van, along with a consumer unit, fuse board and isolation switches for safety. This setup is capable of running things such as a fridge, lighting, charging devices, cooking equipment and other electricals, making it a solid base for an off-grid camper build or continued use as a working dog/security unit. Overall this is a reliable, well-equipped van with the expensive work already done, ready for someone to take it further depending on their needs.
This van is a blank canvas project with a professionally installed full off-grid electrical system already in place. No additional conversion work has been carried out, making it ideal for someone looking to build their own camper or work setup from the ground up.
The electrical system is fully set up and ready to use, saving a significant amount of time and cost. Aside from this, the van remains unconverted internally, allowing complete flexibility to design and finish it exactly how you want.
