2012 Ford Trandit SWB high roof,
Diesel 2.2
1 years MOT
140000miles
@ 121000 – New clutch, Reconditioned gear box, dual mass flywheel
Under sealed – no rust issues, this was a BT van and it looks like the under seal was put on when it was new.
I had an in depth pre- buy Mechanical inspection carried out before I bought it in February 2025 – all good or excellent.
Lots of paperwork from previous owner showing works done.
No problems that I know of, no noises or crunches,
Starts every time
Needs some TLC to be an off grid camper
The exterior isn’t perfect, but doesn’t have any dents or deep scratches
the drivers cab inside is very good for its age, there is some minor wear and tear but no eye sores and seats are original and in good condition
Parrot car bluetooth fitted
Reversing sensors
Cruise control
70 mile an hour speed limiter
Original Radio AndCD player, nice sound, no blown speakers.
There is electric going into the back, but I haven’t put any electrics in the back.
I have not fixed anything into the van, the bed, seating and the storage compartments are all removable.
The floor is wooden with two layers of new Lino and carpet on the top.
I used good quality closed cell Insulation on the ceiling, which I sealed correctly, and then I put another layer on top of that, from the pictures it will look like it isn’t sealed, but it is sealed underneath.
The van already had plastic wall covering, and I have put a wool and bamboo wood carpet on some of the internal walls.
I have used hammer right paint to tidy up internally.
It is a great van for a full conversion, the short wheelbase means you can park anywhere and yet you can stand up in it. It’s approx 180cm height inside.
It drives very smoothly, no squeaks or worrying noises.
I fully intended to convert it and keep it for a very long time, but I have sold my car and it is too big to have as my only vehicle, so I need to buy a smaller van.
There are a few things needed to tidy up what I’ve done, I have the products I used to give to you, ie; some closed cell insulation, paint, some fabric green tape to finish the wheel trim covering,
