Our Ford Transit cabin-style van conversion is cosy, functional, and great to live in. We are selling it with a heavy heart, as we will be relocating to the Netherlands and cannot take it with us unfortunately.

The interior of the van has been completed with a light wood panelling, giving it an airy and natural feel. It has some awesome features, including a convertible double bed, a convertible kids’ bed and loads of storage. The kitchen is finished with a sink (including running water from a 20L tank and a 20L waste water tank), a camping stove, a 12V cool box fridge and a large worktop with above storage. The van also has a basic toilet and a sweet 12V outdoor shower set up including a 30L water tank giving you plenty of water for a few showers (we’ve also fitted shower curtains for when that extra bit of privacy is needed).

It features a crafty convertible double bed (full-size double; fitted lengthways to accommodate the tall people among us) with plenty of storage underneath. To change to a bed, the base simply slides out from underneath and the cushions go flat. During the day, the bed transforms into a comfy couch to chill, read and eat. All seat covers can easily be removed and washed.

All the electricity in the van is powered by a 150Watt solar panel feeding an extra leisure battery. It always has plenty of power to run, and it recharges daily. The leisure battery also takes a charge from long drives. We’ve also fitted a diesel heating system for the colder nights. You will find two 12V plugs (one in the front and one in the back), 7 USB charging points (one in the front and 6 in the back), 2 touch lights, 2 ceiling lights, 2 under counter lights – all powered by the solar panel and leisure battery setup.

The van has 3 front seats and 2 seats in the back allowing 5 people to travel comfortably. The van comfortably sleeps two people and a child. This conversion has stealthy access to the cab, which allows for a nicer journey for the passengers in the back. A curtain that can be closed during the night and when parked up to allow for more privacy. The van has two large, blacked out windows on either side and one smaller window that can be opened at the back door. All windows have curtains.

The van’s original colour is blue, but it’s currently covered by a black matte wrap.
