This conversion is completely off grid and has been designed to a very high quality with a long term vision. All the electrics have been done by an NICEIC qualified electrician. The LPG installation has a Gas Safe certificate. The woodwork has all been completed by a 40 year time served carpenter and there are videos and pictures of the whole conversion from start to finish to verify the quality.

The unique textured wall, matches the wall of the shower shows the attention to detail in this build with matte black finishings throughout the van. The attention to detail on fixtures and fittings has been created using quality materials with fitted blackout blinds, window into the cabin and lightweight LVT flooring throughout. High quality products to save on weight without compromising on performance used throughout the conversion.

Built in 240V full size fridge with a freezer, plenty of 240V and USB in the kitchen. Matte black sink with custom chopping board cover and under sink built in bin and storage.
The table slides above the fridge, allowing space for cooking etc when needed. The seat tops open up for extra storage.

The walls are high quality industrial material and a custom made shower tray to maximise the space given. Finished with matte black shower controls and shower head, shaver, toothbrush holders and matching hooks and storage, and a removable duckboard for that at home feel.

Both hot water and heating is supplied by the Truma Combi 4 with a thermostat control and LED display which allows you to have full control on both consumption and temperatures.

LPG is provided by the underslung 30L tank with a refillable system and level indicator.
The freshwater tank is 150L and will enable 5 – 7 days of showering and washing up. The waste water tank is 65L underslung.
The electrics in the van are designed and installed by an NICEIC qualified electrician. All of the electrical components are Victron and There are 2X 110 amp AGM Leisure Battery,

DC to DC charger which automatically charges the batteries as you drive
The Victron MPPT smart charger to the 2 x 280W solar panels
AC – DC charger with 16 amp hook up which makes charging from any 240v socket or campground hook up possible
Double USBs on both sides of the bed, an electrics cupboard with all the control switches and additional USB and USB C chargers.

Insulation and Heating The ceiling has 25mm kingspan insulation between the roof supports which are also insulated with expanding foam. The van walls have a combination of fireproof insulation and Where the space allowed the van walls also have 25mm Kingspan in them. The wall between the front cab and the accommodation also has full 25mm kingspan insulation. On top of the kingspan is a 7 dreams industrial lightweight foil and foam combination (link attached) this has also been sealed and acts as a vapour barrier throughout the whole accommodation.
The floor has a layer of foam insulation to protect from cold rising up.

Side note – We have been in the van in sub -15 conditions and had absolutely no issues with the heat retention inside the van. We have also been in +30 degrees and the insulation works to keep the van cool inside during the summer.

There is plenty of storage in the wardrobe by the bed secured by bungee ropes. Hidden storage and a laundry shoot to the “garage area”.
