Lovingly built by Adam who is a trained carpenter with the help of his trusty assistant Sian.
Hector was created for full-time van living and working (check out our electrics!!) in which we have done for the past two years exploring Europe both summer and winter. Hector has taken us on many adventures and as a result we have decided to live in the mountains full-time and therefore the time has come for him to be part of a new family!
We are due back from France at the end of the winter season and so the van will be available upon our return at the beginning of May where we will take him in for his MOT.
The van layout was designed to fit in all our outdoor hobbies yet creating a functional living space. From our previous van we decided that zoning the areas worked best for full time living to stop us from getting in the way of the other. Therefore the layout consists of Lounge, Kitchen, Bedroom and Garage.
In the cab:
-Uprgaded retrofitted cruise control
-JVC apple car play screen
-Reversing camera
-Cab internal and external window covers.

-Sofa which houses the electrics and has storage.

-80L under slung fresh water tank, 65l underslung waste
-UK 3 pin plug socket
-Vast amount of storage.
-Touch LED light strips under over head kitchen units
-Pull out bin.
Bedroom:
-Standard double bed (190x145cm)
-Dometic Heiki roof skylight above bed
-Bedside shelves with lights and 4x USB outlets
-2x USB outlets at the foot of the bed
-2 large cupboards for clothes with unique mountain pattern.
-Under the bed is large area for our dog but this could be turned into more storage.
The garage:
-We currently have two mountain bikes on a slide out tray, space for two 7″6 surfboards, two snowboard holders , and shelving for climbing equipment.
-Camping Lux gas powered shower with a handmade privacy curtain that hooks across the doors.
-Heater outlet and home made 3d printed extractor fan unit to allow for quick drying of soggy hiking boots or wetsuits.

Safety:
-2x fire extinguishers
-Carbon monoxide alarm
-Smoke alarm
Notes:
When the van was completed we had a Gas safe certificate but as this is over a year old it would need a new one.
Also it has been weighed but I don’t have a picture of this. With it fully laden with all of us including Dog, water, food and equipment in it was 3400kg.
