This is a 2016 Ford Transit MK8 with a manual gearbox, offering a reliable and well-proven base vehicle for the conversion. It has covered 170,000 miles but runs exactly as it should with no known faults or issues.
The van has been well maintained throughout its life, with full service history available. The previous owner carried out oil changes every 6,000 miles, and since owning it I have continued to maintain it to a high standard. Key components including the turbo, alternator and starter motor have all been replaced, giving added confidence in its long-term reliability.
The vehicle has recently been serviced and comes with a fresh MOT, so it is ready to drive away and use immediately.
Mechanically, the engine pulls well with no unwanted noises, smoke or warning lights. The gearbox is smooth and operates as expected.
The bodywork is in great overall condition for its age and mileage, with only minor age-related marks here and there. Importantly, there is no rust on the bodywork.
The van is also fitted with reverse parking sensors, making it easy to manoeuvre despite its size.

The van is configured as a comfortable 4 berth, suitable for up to four adults.
There are two generously sized beds:
– Upper bed (electric lift): 1500mm wide x 1500mm long, extending to approximately 1800mm with the pull-out section. This bed is operated via a 12V electric lifting system, allowing it to be raised out of the way during the day and lowered easily for use at night.
– Lower bed (dinette conversion): 1850mm long x 1650mm wide, formed from the seating area. This creates a large, comfortable sleeping space suitable for adults.
Both beds are larger than standard doubles in usable space, making the van ideal for couples, families or groups looking for a practical and comfortable sleeping arrangement.
The layout allows full use of the living and dining space during the day, with a quick and simple transition into sleeping areas when required.
