The van has been serviced yearly in our ownership and benefits from recent new brakes and tyres on all 4 corners. The vehicle boasts the added ECO option which means the van can return anything up to 38MPG on a trip. The suspension has been upgraded with assist springs and uprated shock absorbers on the rear to handle the constant weight. It has changed as we have although we have sadly now found it surplus to requirement and wish to find someone to love it as much as we have! With now busy lives and commitments we have made roots in the south east and no longer use the van for what it was built for…. life! We have enjoyed many a trip around the West country, Wales and Lake district in this van and are proud to say with absolutely no issues!
At the front of the van you will find the ‘living area’ this area incorporates the cab of the van, with both the front seats on swivels a family entertaining space can be created around a removable table, or alternatively the area can be used as a comfortable lounging space while enjoying views from the sliding door.
The bench seat has 2 seatbelts having a steel fixed frame mounted to the vehicles structure, under the seat is the heart of the electrical system of the van, with a little space for extra storage.
The area has a MaxxFan roof vent/fan with remote, access to a UK 3-pin plug and double USB charging point. 5 good size overhead storage lockers provide great storage for low weight items such as clothing.
Behind the bench seat of the van you will find the kitchen, naturally lit by a Dometic skylight this is a truly versatile station with great space for food preparation.
Within the kitchen you will find ample cupboard space as well as two large soft closing draws, there is plenty of room for carrying food and pots and pans etc. Set within solid oak worktop is a stainless steel sink and high/quality removable silicone hose tap and a Thetford Triplex oven, this great little duel-fuel cooker has two gas burners and one electric hob on top as well as a gas oven/grill below.
A Waeco CRX65 Compressor fridge will keep all your treats, beverages and ice lollies cold, we have found this to be a great dependable fridge with a convenient little freezer draw which operates super quietly and efficiently.
In the kitchen area you will find access to a 2-Gang UK 3 pin plug socket, a double USB charging point and The Truma Heater/Water Boiler Control.
In the cupboard below the sink a water level display, water pump switch, gas level display and inverter remote switch can be found.
Directly adjacent to the kitchen stands the bathroom, with a high quality tambour door, portable toilet and a conventional mixer shower the cubicle offers you everything you need in a van bathroom. The room can also be used as a drying room having a convenient pair of hooks and a heater outlet in the cubicle, the cubicle has been designed small yet usable to maximise space in the van, and lets face it, who really showers in a van unless you really have to?
At the rear of the van is an area created for comfort and relaxation, a wonderful full size uk double bed with plenty of headroom and great views from two windows, this area is a great place to unwind upon a high quality Dormeo Memory Foam mattress , the bed will welcome you with a great nights sleep. The area is also equipped with a reading light and 2x USB charging points and an additional switch for the main down-lights.
Running along side the bed is what we call the banked storage unit, this angled storage unit along with the over-sized over-head locker provide tremendous storage without encroaching onto the bed, these cupboards are great for additional bedding, winter wardrobes and just about anything you wish to take with you.
Under the bed you will find a huge storage area housing the Truma Combi 4E unit which is the must have for comfort in a motor home, this wonderful thermostated unit will keep you comfortable or incredibly snuggly while providing you with quick and efficient hot water with an internal 10L water boiler, you can run this unit off both gas and on 240v hook-up, a USB charging socket and the internal mobile WIFI router is also found in the ‘garage’
Fresh water, waste and gas tanks are all underslung. There is also an external gas BBQ point and shore line hook-up socket found at the rear of the van.
