Ford Transit Motorcaravan
Harry comes with a brand new habitation check and full MOT until Feb 2027. Partial service history. He has been a very well looked after boy with his previous owner a meticulous, ex forces guy who kept it in pristine condition. We have loved owning Harry and had many adventures, comfortably sleeping six and travelling four. We hosted friends last summer and they had a pup tent to pitch alongside us. We travelled on a Northumberland/ Scotland off grid adventure last summer and all 8 of us ate around the extending dining table every mealtime. When old Blighty did its weather thing we were all able to fit in with both space and privacy. It’s very well designed.
The engine is a 2.0 litre diesel and has never missed a beat. In fact the only issue we have had with it was the wiper blades needed replacing! It has a kill switch installed by the last owner, told you he was meticulous, which any MoHo crew know is huge peace of mind. Once that’s flipped nothing can drain that battery and you’re guaranteed a starting engine that next day. Harry can do off grid with ease with two superb solar panels on the roof. Hot air heating, a fridge/freezer which can run from gas/ 240v, 3 hob burner, hot water boiler for kitchen and bathroom sink and also the power shower. We are both 6 footers and can attest it’s the best camping shower we’ve had! Harry also has an aerial fitted if travelling with a tv is your thing.
Sleeping arrangements are incredible! There is a huge king size above the cab, this has two spotlights of its own, two windows, storage and a safety net. The dining area becomes a large double and there is a French bed at the back with a new orthopaedic mattress on. This can be made into a private, en suite bedroom as there is a partition screen to separate this from the living area.
There are plug sockets situated throughout, lights for use on and off grid and also the solar controller also has USB ports to keep all your devices running. Both sinks have stainless mixer taps.
Bodywork reflects his age where the paintwork is concerned but he has an aluminium body so there is absolutely NO rust on him! Fully winterised and insulated and is really warm in the winter.
Storage – loads of cubby boxes, a wardrobe with mini one directly underneath. Under the French bed is the ‘garage’ which is a life saver when travelling with kids and a very large SUP! Under the sofa is more storage but we have installed a new leisure battery under there which powers everything you need!
Reverse cameras – we installed two as they’re so useful and Harry is a big lad! Full colour display and just gives you so much more confidence.
Windows – all windows and both generous skylights come with fitted blinds and bug screens!
Awning – a HUGE Omnistor 5002 awning is attached and transforms where you’ve parked. It makes an amazing outdoor dining area and the whole frame looks incredible strung up with solar lanterns! The biggest issue you have is your fellow campers all wanting to see your set up. It’s such a lovely community if you visit sites.
Harry has specially fitted, thermal window blinds for the cab once the sun has set and you want to cosy in!
