Renault Master T35 2.8TDI LWB
*Open to reasonable offers
This 2001 Renault Master T35 2.8 TDI LWB started life as a St John’s Ambulance and was only used for shows, which explains its incredibly low mileage. It’s been serviced every six months throughout its life, so it’s in outstanding condition mechanically and cosmetically.
When we purchased it in April 2025, we had it fully checked over by a trusted garage who confirmed it was in amazing condition.
MOT due: 11 November 2025
Average MPG: 30
Transmission: 5-speed manual
Long Wheelbase: Plenty of space for camper conversion or work use
Well maintained: Regular servicing and excellent upkeep from new
This is a rare find – a low-mileage, well-cared-for van that’s ready for its next chapter.
Meet Jean-Claude Van Damme
Purchased by two best friends in April 2025, Jean-Claude has already been part of some unforgettable adventures, including a trip to Switzerland where he was an absolute pleasure to drive and live in. Sadly, due to a change in circumstances, it’s time for us to let him go for someone else to finish the conversion. He’s at that perfect stage where all the big jobs are done and it’s just the fun finishing touches left. We had the whole layout planned and loads of ideas ready to go, but now it’s time for someone else to make him their own.
This ex–St John’s Ambulance has been lovingly converted into a comfortable camper while keeping some of its original features for that authentic touch.
Features include:
-Fully insulated for year-round use
-Solar panels connected to two leisure batteries for off-grid power
-Diesel heater and air conditioning
-Ceiling fan and roof vent for airflow
-Spot lights and fairy lights
-Laminate wood flooring
-Overhead lockers running the full length of the van for storage
-Built-in bed with plenty of storage underneath
-Brand new head unit with upgraded speakers and CarPlay screen in the cabin
We’ve kept certain ambulance features to give the van extra character, and everything has been designed to make travelling and camping comfortable and practical. Please get in contact for any questions and we are open to offers!
There’s a custom-sized large queen bed (4ft 6in by 5ft 9in) built into the van. As we haven’t finished the conversion, we’ve been using a small double mattress on the floor for now. Our plans were to add an L-shaped sofa that could pull out into a small double bed, giving extra sleeping space and a flexible living area.
