****PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING****
😁😁Polite message: Please do not contact me with endless questions regarding the van, I will supply all the info you need below. I will not respond to questions if they are answered below. If you are a serious buyer, please arrange to come and see her, and make sure you have the full payment ready to go. I simply do not have time to spare at present, my apologies, I have a lot going on! 🙏 TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE !! ….with this van, if she is not sold before the 3rd April she will be rented out to a friend, so if you are interested please make haste 🤗

🚌 Meet Maggie. I bought her 3 years ago at 72,000 miles and converted her from a 16 seater mini-bus. I have done regular services and oil changes so she runs really sweet. Will bomb along happily at 60mph all day. Whenever I have added components they have been good quality. The electronics are top of the range and the tyres aren’t the cheap ones! I have to sell her to fund my horse box conversion as I have outgrown her. I’ve put my heart and soul into this and hope that is reflected in the photos. She was designed as an adventure bus and so is well kitted out with loads of storage space. I did a trip around Scotland with my mountain bike, road bike, 2 surfboards, and winter and summer mountain climbing kit and had space for it all!!
You will be expected to take on the plants too! 🪴 🌱

💡 She has plenty of lighting. Some soft LEDs over the worktop and a touch sensitive reading lamp. She is ready to start living in straight away.

She doesn’t have serious rust issues. But there are a few bits that need attention, but nothing that couldn’t wait till the end of summer. I’ve had no engine troubles and she’s not let me down once. Very low mileage for a diesel so many years left in her.

😴 The bed slides in and out so as to maximise space. It means I can walk right through the space and is great in summer with all the doors open.

💪 I have removed, re-sealed and re-riveted all the windows back in place so they are watertight. The windscreen and rubber seal were replaced 2 years ago also.

🥶 I took the fridge out because I didn’t use it much and it’s not very efficient, but it’s there if you want it. It’s a 3-way Dometic combicool RF 60 L

🌌 There are 2 skylights. One is a 40×40 clear Fiamma extractor fan above the cooker which can suck air and steam out whilst cooking. It can also draw air in.

LDV Convoy 2005 2.4 L TD Duratorq
98,500 miles
M.O.T: Until 23 rd January 2023 (10 months remaining)

⭕️ Tyres: Only 1.5 years old. Loads of mileage left in them. X2 Michelin 4 seasons tyres up front. X4 ……… 4 seasons tyres driving the rear. She has four wheel rear-drive, so can power through anything. Brand new unused spare tyre. Tyre changing set all present.
Starter battery: Bosch Silver…..still under 3 year warranty. Never failed to start.
⚡️ Electrical system: split charge relay, charging x 2 Fulmen 95Ah AGM leisure batteries.
⚡️ Victron Phoenix 12, 1200 W pure sine wave inverter (I run a 900w nutri-bullet blender off this and a juicer)
⚡️Victron Smart Solar charge controller, MPPT 100/30, Bluetooth monitoring
⚡️Victron BMV 712 Smart battery monitor, Bluetooth app monitoring
⚡️ 325 w solar panel. Not permanently fixed to roof, so can be oriented to the sun or placed on the ground to maximise input. I have built a sturdy wooden prop that has notches so it can be angled to the sun throughout the year. Bluetooth app monitoring enables you to adjust the panel for optimum charging.
⚡️ 240v mains hook up with 25m extension lead.
⚡️ separate battery charger (not built in, but easy to fit. Victron do them for around £150)
⚡️ x 3 240v plug sockets, x3 double slot USB sockets, x3 12v adapter sockets
⚡️ x4 3W roof spotlights, exterior floodlight mounted above rear door

⛽️ Oil & filter change and service just before Christmas 🎄 (‘I recommend every 3000 miles’)

🔥 Diesel heater installed under passenger seat (chinese) not connected to fuel tank.
⛽️ Plastimo Neptune 5000 3 hob, grill and oven, marine gas cooker. There is a gas locker that houses a large 13kg butane bottle that lasts for well over a year! The locker has two drop-vents in-line with health and safety regulations to evacuate gas if it leaks and so will not build up in the van.
💦 Trail King 7 water pump @ 10L / minute, sink with tap and a 25 L water tank (isolator switch installed)
🌲 Large heavy-duty roof rack, can store 2 bikes, 2 surf boards and solar panel, canoes etc. Can even be used as a sun-deck for two people in summer!

🔧 there is some rust that needs attending to on the wheel arches, but not structural. Underneath is pretty sound and have had no advisories on the MOT. I’d recommend getting it Waxoyled underneath to protect it. The rear plate where the registration plate is mounted is pretty rusty but easily replaced and non-structural.
🔧The gutters need some attending to, my friend has used a sealing strip instead of sealant as overtime sealant tears away from the sides.
