Sadly having to sell to get something bigger for our growing family. This van has been a trusty steed on so many incredible adventures across the UK and beyond.
We have just returned from a holiday in the Outer Hebrides and Bumble managed the miles faultlessly. We have really looked after him and I was hoping to have him for many years to come but realise we need a permanent high top for the added storage.
MOT until 28/09/22 so is ready for a summer of fun!
Gear linkage and ball joints replaced 2021.
Gearbox fully reconditioned and clutch replaced Oct 2019.
Cambelt changed July 2018 @150,000 miles, due again in 25,000 miles. (Costs ~ยฃ500)
Vehicle fully treated and undersealed Sept 2016 to ensure he keeps going for many more years. Occasionally he gets a bit of surface rust especially around the sills and wheel arches but this is easy to stay on top of and has never been anything structural. We don’t live by the sea which may be why his original paintwork is in better condition than most T4s. Being a Dec 2002 reg he is also one of the youngest T4s out there.
Conversion:
Westdubs Ltd front lift roof and bed base Nov 2017. Mattress up-top wide enough to fit two adults cosily. Easily lifts up for full-standing height downstairs. I am 6ft4 and can sleep up there well.
Reimo Multirail. Effortlessly clips on awnings. (We have a large Khyam drive-away awning and a smaller one for shorter trips- both up for offer).
LED lights with multiple settings, remote control and music activated for those spontaneous party nights.
Captain’s swivel to passenger side.
Fully insulated and ply lined, carpeted. Keeps the heat in very well in mid-winter.
2 new rear windows in front side panels (Installed by Tidy Transporters) and window LH rear quarter (2020-Autovision windscreens).
Leisure battery with Split Charge Distribution box (under driver’s seat). Multiple circuits available for add-ons.
Dometic RM 3-way Fridge with vent to external and gas supply in copper pipe (Installed by Source Conversions). Great being able to use electric, gas or leisure battery.
Gas bottle store – fully sealed and secured storage box with strap for bottle and drop vent through bottom of van (all installed by Source Conversions)
2 Hob Cooker and grill (Camping Gaz Chef) gas supply in copper pipe (Installed by Source Conversions)
3/4 Rock and Roll bed with 2no. 3 point seatbelts (Bought from and installed by Cannon’s Forge)
Fiamma double bike rack.
Fixed storage units including sink and tap (with water pump).Made out of reclaimed wood and gave it a unique feel before instagram and #vanlife even existed!
At 20 years old Bumble is driving as well as ever and we hope will go to someone who will have as much adventure and fun as we have had with him. He is in great condition given his age and should go for many more years if looked after well.

Two adults can sleep upstairs and downstairs depending on how cosy you want things. Be prepared for a bit of a climb into the poptop!
We prefer sleeping in the poptop so the living area is ready to go straight away in the morning.
