The van was professionally converted in 2018, with health and the environment in mind. Everything is in near-new condition. This custom environmentally sensitive design completely off grid conversion consists of a large double bed, full bathroom with hot and cold high pressure shower, sink and toilet, living room with custom L shaped seating (convertible to single adult and child beds), full kitchen with 3 built in gas hobs, full gas oven and sink with hot and cold mixer tap. The only reason we are selling is because we are moving abroad and we are very sorry to see Narnia go but know that it will be very much appreciated by its new owner.
This high spec off grid converted van can easily be lived in full time and it would suit a couple or a family: it has one large stationary bed in back (182 x 137cm), and two smaller stationary beds in front which can either sleep an adult and a small child or 2 children.

Off Grid – Electrics
The van is designed for off grid living (but of course with the option of mains hook up) – it can easily handle long stretches off the beaten track! On the roof is mounted 270 watt solar panel. The van has two x 120ah Rolls sealed agm batteries, and a Victron MultiPlus energy MPPT combined solar charge controller and inverter. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features. In practice this means that the batteries charge from the solar panel and also charge up through a split charge relay while driving. This setup makes the van fully off grid, you never need to charge from a mains hook-up which makes wild camping easy, stealth camping possible, and saves money on rent or campsites. The inverter means you can enjoy 240v electrics – charge your laptop and work from home, as well as charge your other electronics with the USB sockets by the living room and bedroom.

Kitchen
Narnia is blessed with a large fully fitted kitchen – including three gas hobs and a full gas oven – which means that it is so easy to cook a huge variety of meals – you can even bake your own bread! There is plenty of counter space and kitchen storage for meal preparation and food and kitchen equipment storage. The stainless steel hot and cold mixer tap sink is convenient for all washing up.

Bathroom
The full bathroom houses a standard high pressure household hot and cold water shower, a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap and a Thetford portapotti toilet. The van has a huge 94 litre fresh water tank with a powerful Sureflo electric pump. There is ample bathroom storage and the bathroom is very private and fitted with a shower curtain around the shower and a sliding wooden bathroom door.

Bedrooms
One of the most wonderful things about Narnia the proper fixed extremely spacious double bed with a hotel grade foam mattress. It is convenient for long tips and day to day van living since you do not have to pack your bed away each day, and you are sure to sleep well and deeply. Designed with great sleep in mind, the windows are tinted, the curtains are thick, the movie projection screen doubles as a blackout privacy curtain and blocks the living area from the van, and there is a skylight (with sliding blackout blind) directly above the bed – great for airflow whilst sleeping. There are plenty of lights for night time reading, too. Above the bed are high level cupboards ideal for storing all of your clothes, especially useful if you use packing cubes or baskets to organize your clothes. There are also two single beds – one suitable for an adult, the other for a small child which are convertible from the custom made cushions in the living room seating. The bedding for these beds can be conveniently stored above the cab for ease of use or below the seating.

Living Room and Dining Room
The cosy and relaxing living room with its custom made comfortable L shaped seating is great for stretching out with a good book, watching a film, working from home, or watching the world go by. The dining room table seats four, is great as a work surface, or for a meal, and its base is removable, so the space can be used flexibly. There are recessed lights over the seats and USB and 3 prong sockets to charge your phone, tablet or laptop. The living room window is tinted and has a roller blind for extra privacy. The Fiamma turbo fan vent and sliding window allow the right amount of fresh air for every occasion.

Media
One of Narnia’s unique features is its movie screen between the living room and the driving area, which allows for easy projection of the latest films and the ability to curl up and watch them from the bedroom. There are plenty of USB sockets and 3 prong plug sockets to charge your laptops, tablets and phones.

Space and Storage
The solid wood interior is handcrafted from reclaimed oak from French wine crates, and the panels and the countertops are stained with natural oils throughout. The oak interior and solid pine ceiling give a lovely natural relaxing feel to the van. There is plenty of storage both in the van and in the “garage” under the raised bed at the back for everything else, including bicycles, outdoor kitchen and dining equipment, chairs, climbing gear, suitcases, and even a full pantry. There is also a large bulkhead storage space above the driving area which can hold spare bedding and the exceptionally comfortable Duvalay mattress and duvet for the single adult bed. There are hooks for coats and torches and umbrellas. The bathroom has plenty of room for toiletries. There is LOADS of storage: garage at back, space under the front and back beds, a large cupboard over the cab, kitchen cupboards, kitchen drawers, shelf alcoves, bedroom cupboards and coat hooks.The cosy reading/chilling seating in the living room become the smaller berths by night as needed, with ample storage below. The insulation, front Fiamma Turbo fan vent and back opening skylight vent, movie projections screen, and sliding window keep the van cool in summer and warm in winter. A large tinted sliding window and two roof vents make the van lovely and light. The front living space skylight has a controllable turbo fan for quickly getting rid of cooking smells or drawing in fresh air.

Hot water and Central Heating
The water heater and central heating were professionally installed and are 2 years old. With the (almost silent) thermostat controllable heating on, the van reaches and retains the desired temperature very efficiently.
