Ford Transit MK6 Minibus
This is an old Vehicle with high milage but saying that it has had a good well serviced life as a local school run bus , I have spent a lot on it to make it as reliable as I use it regularly the work I have had done is including a full set of 6 new Tyers.
It has been resprayed and there is minor bubbling in some places but overall it is looking good.
The cab is in fairly good and reasonable condition.
MISTY is a grey ex minibus Ford MK6 Transit , I have stripped it out and added vapour barrier to all surfaces and insulated the panels with professional materials ,
I have sealed all of the inside channels with under-seal so if any water or condensation does form the areas are sealed . there is a 12v electric supply from a leisure battery that is charged from a split relay system ,I have put on the dash 1 double USB There are 8 USB’s and 1 on the radio. there are a further 4 cigarette type sockets .
I have put most of the USB sockets in a storage space so items are not on show.
A small inverter is in place to ignite the cooker . There is a separate 240v with a caravan hookup that feeds 4 double electric sockets with 2 USB ports in each and a further two single outdoor electric sockets by each door side and back. The gas bottle has a gas safe cabinet and feeds a small boiler and the hob . There is a shower at the back of the van to be used with the van doors open .
the bed is a 4’6″ double Just shy of 6′ in length . There is a gas hob and sink . We have an 80ltr fresh water and 80ltr waste water tank under the bed so this van can go off grid for around 7 days.There are two slim open cupboards a long shelf across the foot of the bed that has one of the electric sockets so you can watch TV or laptop .The seating is simple as I left it open plan so a child bed can be put in place easily . There are two units with cupboards under the sink and cooker , the 12v electrics are in the seat and further storage space is in there , you also have storage under the bed . I designed the layout for a laptop life style for two of us so plenty of charge points . The toilet is a fixed C4 Thetford cassette under a work top by the side door. I have had fitted a Radio that has a rear view camera.
I have had quite a lot of work done on the van including welding so that it is as sound as possible mechanically ,it has various new parts and 6 new Tyers
A 4′ 6″ built in platform that has a thick memory foam mattress the length is just shy of 6′ as it is at the window level , I have left the floor space so that a child bed can be used .
