This smart and totally off grid home built on 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 316 CDI biturbo had been completed this autumn.
It drives like new- having only done 29k miles, so it will take you wherever you desire for years to come!
This van will be an excellent choice for a singleton or a couple. This conversion has been designed to make sure that you have all the necessities: hot water, two showers (inside and outside), toilet, powerful Victron Energy electrical system (for your peace of mind- so that you are not depended on LPG!), big sink and plenty of storage.
Designing this van, we focused on comfort living. We built extremely powerful and modern all Eictron Energy Electrical system, so that wherever you are (you don’t need to be hooked up to mains power) you will be able to use all household appliances: iron, hairdryer, blender, induction stove top, Thermomix etc. We also incorporated four 240V sockets, one of which is conveniently located by the passenger swivel seat.
The living area is divided from the cab using a thermal, black out blind. When the blind is folded up, there is plenty of sunshine coming in which you will be able to enjoy sitting in a passenger swivel seat. For safety and privacy, this van has been converted in stealth style. This means that it has no vanlife stickers, art on the outside and no windows in the body. However should you wish to incorporate these, it will be easy for you to make it look more touristy and also add a window or few. (Tip: however, we encourage new owners to have a couple of trips with the van before making decision on the windows so that your choice is a conscious one and even with time and in different places you will be happy with what you went for: the type, how big, where or if at all).
In addition to all the windows in the cab, Maxx fan and skylights provide ample natural daylight (much more daylight than you would get through any sort of tinted window). They also enable sufficient airflow to make your living space completely condensation and moist free. To keep to toasty in the cold winter months we installed an smart diesel or electric heater- you simply set preferred room temperature.
Sofa bed gives plenty of sitting area during the day and gives a sense of spaciousness. It takes less than a minute to make the bed so in our opinion this is the only way to go (not having to look at your bed all day makes this little home feel more like an apartment as opposed to having a fixed bed when you might feel like you are stuck in your bedroom all day, every day). Having an L-shaped sofa running from side to side of the van means that you can have a snooze during the day, without having to make the bed. Sofa is big enough for one person to work at the desk while the other is having a nap.
The interior of this beautiful studio flat is kept modern and light. Beautiful Moroccan tile style LVT flooring is a true show stopper! Also grey on white decor with black elements gives this home classy and smart look at the same time nicely highlighting the beautiful oak worktops that everyone complements. This home on wheels can be personalized to your liking. Walls are deco free leaving choice of the accessories to you so that it will feel just like a custom made tiny home.
There are plenty of storage options: above the cab, overhead cabinets, drawers and even a big cupboard for hanging clothes. Internal magnetic cabinet locks have been used in the drawers. – once they are locked your belongings will be safe inside even on the bumpiest of roads!
Incorporated in this van design is shower room. Domestic shower tray has been used due to the quality of the material. It is durable and cannot be compared to the commonly used plastic showerpans made for campers. It will easily fit any toilet of your choice- we recommend a composting toilet by Simploo. There is more than enough room inside the shower to enjoy a good hot shower. Shower cubicle is spacious but at the same time it is kept in line with the sink unit so that the shower doesn’t stick out and dominate the entire interior space of the van, but instead is aesthetically pleasing.
This conversion is very practical and comfortable. Most importantly no expense was spared to make it as low maintenance as possible: you can fill your water from outside, for example: to empty grey water tank you don’t need to get out of drivers seat- this is especially useful in cold and wet winter months as well as in busy city locations.
This Mercedes home offers more than necessary for your needs, from weekends away to full time off grid living and at the same tome it is truly stylish!
For extra security an electronic immobiliser device has been fitted- the codes and registration details will be handed to the new owner upon purchase.

Insulation:
100% pure Sheep’s wool insulation all around UK made. Sheep wool is the best non-toxic insulation for a camper van conversion– it’s sustainable, naturally fire-resistant, breathable, doesn’t retain moisture, and it’s literally sheep wool, so there are no toxic chemicals, it even helps purify the air in your van.
Special membrane has been used to further help with insulation and prevent thermal bridging.
Eurovent VSTRONG 200g/m2 is a four-layer highly vapor-permeable membrane with extreme tear resistance. Made of two layers of polypropylene non-woven fabric, PE reinforcing mesh and functional film.
100% natural dunlop latex mattress Latexsense “Supercomfort”. Naturally resistant to mould and dust mites.
