Elmer is a Citroen Relay L2H2, with a 6 speed gearbox that was professionally converted by Surprise View Campers in Sheffield. She has bespoke metalwork by a master welder in Maltby and Aquaclean upholstery from Wagtail Campers.
Elmer is well kitted out for off-grid adventures. She has generous ceiling height and enough bed space for a family of 4. Furthermore, she has a leisure battery, large solar panel, EHU, inverter, 4g wifi booster, 2-burner gas hob, 85L fridge plus freezer, Truma Combi boiler for heating and hot water, LED ceiling lights, multiple USB charge points, reading lights above each bed, external shower, filtered water tap and Fiamma awning. We had a 3 week holiday where we remained off grid throughout. She also toured Europe for 3 amazing months with any problems. It is therefore with reluctance that we are selling this beloved family vehicle due to a change in family circumstance.

Elmer used to be a white delivery van for Sunderland council before she was bought by her previous owner and converted . Her colour scheme is inspired by Elmer the patchwork elephant. She was converted by Surprise View campers in Sheffield where reclaimed materials were used to create her colourful and rustic style. Elmer’s two bedframes were crafted by a master welder in Sheffield. Elmer also has custom Aquaclean (wipeable, fire-retardant) upholstery from Wagtail Campers.
Elmer sleeps up to 4 people. She has a double rock and roll bed (180cm long x 130cm wide) and the bunkbed for one or two children (160cm long x 100cm wide). The bunkbed can be raised to the ceiling during for extra headspace during the day.
