Vehicle Description

What makes this van exceptional:

Genuinely off-grid power: 740W solar, 230AH lithium battery and full Victron suite — you will not run out of power

Truma heating & hot water: Truma Combi 6DE provides instant hot water and space heating on diesel, 12V or 240V — the benchmark system for serious leisure vehicles

Owner-designed, professionally built: Designed by someone who intended to live in it full-time, finished by Paramount Campers — not a formula build

Luxury interior specification: Real walnut flooring and worktops, ceramic Belfast sink, king-size Emma mattress, marble-effect bathroom — home quality throughout

Exceptional insulation: 4–10cm Earthwool and Celotex throughout, stayed in during a ski season in Andorra with the heater barely needed

Fully self-sufficient: 90L fresh water tank, 25L undermounted LPG tank, EHU socket — configured for weeks of independent travel

Three owners, one direction: Each of the three owners has added a further layer of quality — the original Paramount Campers conversion, careful use and maintenance by the second owner, and a full Victron rewire, Truma Combi 6DE, new tyres and handbrake assembly by the current owner

Bought from the second owner in 2023 at 59,000 miles. Each of the three owners has added to the van rather than simply used it — the original Paramount Campers conversion set the standard, the second owner maintained it carefully, and the current owner has since installed the full Victron electrical suite, Truma Combi 6DE, new tyres and a new handbrake assembly. It has six gears plus reverse, starts first time every time, and has never given cause for mechanical concern.

– Full service history and all expected paperwork
– New tyres fitted August 2025
– Full brake set replaced recently — new shoes, pads and drums (£700)
– Underside coated with Hammerite Under Body Seal and Waxoyl
– Spare wheel undermounted (mechanism replaced with brand-new unit)
– Tow bar fitted; rear doors open to 180°
– 7″ touchscreen head unit — Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth; acts as smart speaker for voice navigation
– Reversing camera (essential at this length)
– Bespoke luxury carpet in front cabin with silver/light grey rope trim
– The exterior has been left intentionally understated — it does not obviously look like a campervan, which means it parks anywhere without drawing attention

Truma Combi 6DE — Heating & Hot Water

Space heating and instant hot water from a single unit, running on diesel, 12V or 240V mains. The Truma Combi 6DE is the benchmark system for serious leisure vehicles — quiet, efficient, and backed by Truma’s dealer network across the UK and Europe. Control is via the Truma CP Plus touchscreen panel in the living area, with room climate, hot water temperature, timers and the Truma iNet X smartphone app all accessible from one place.

Victron Energy Electrical Suite

The entire system has been professionally rewired around four Victron components, all Bluetooth-connected and monitored in real time via the VictronConnect app:

Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 — Manages the 740W solar array (2 x 370W panels); logs yield history and optimises charge efficiency via Bluetooth
Victron SmartShunt 300A — Simultaneous real-time readout of domestic and starter battery voltage, state of charge, current draw and remaining time
Victron Orion XS 12V/12V 50A — Intelligently charges the domestic battery from the alternator whilst driving; trickles back to the starter battery once domestic is topped up
Victron BSC IP65 12/7 — Manages charging when connected to shore power (EHU)

The 230AH lithium leisure battery is paired with an EHU socket, giving you full flexibility: solar and driving keep you powered indefinitely off-grid, and shore power is available whenever you want it.

OFF-GRID CAPABILITY

One person living full-time can go seven to eight days before running low on water for a daily shower. Gas lasts months. Solar keeps the battery at capacity in any season — from March through November, the fridge can run off solar alone on a medium overcast day. Two people travelling together typically go four days before needing to top up water and replenish the fridge.

When shore power is available, the EHU socket connects directly: the Victron BSC manages battery charging, the Truma can run on its electric element, and the 240V internal sockets run straight from the supply. On or off grid, the van is fully equipped.

Conversion Description

Most campervans at this price are either a tired professional conversion from a dealer, or an enthusiastic amateur build with budget components. This is neither.

This van was designed from scratch by someone who intended to live in it year-round, then finished by Paramount Campers as a professional conversion. That combination is rare. Professional converters build to a formula that looks good until you try to spend two days in it. Owner-designers build to live in — and it shows in every detail, from the fold-away bed step that disappears into the walnut floor, to the depth of the kitchen drawers, to the fact that the blinds double as cushions.

The electrical and heating systems are where this van moves into a different category entirely. The power system is built around a full Victron Energy suite — SmartSolar MPPT, SmartShunt, Orion XS smart charger and BSC shore power controller — paired with a 230AH lithium battery and 740W of solar. The heating and hot water is handled by a Truma Combi 6DE, one of the most respected units available for leisure vehicles. These are not compromise choices. They are the same components specified by serious full-time vanlifers and high-end professional converters, and they are monitored, app-connected and fully integrated.

The van has been owned with genuine care. It has never failed an MOT. The engine has never given cause for concern. It has been driven to Spain and back, to Andorra for a ski season, and has operated reliably throughout. Full service history and all paperwork are included.

KITCHEN
The kitchen was specified with home-grade appliances throughout. No vinyl, no furniture board, no cheap campervan pieces. Every visible surface is the same quality you would expect in a well-fitted domestic kitchen.

Thetford Duplex oven and grill with three rack heights — genuinely useful for baking, pizzas and evening meals
2-burner glass and cast-iron gas hob — home-spec, highly visible, chosen over cheaper campervan alternatives
Hob cover, that also blocks draughts and doubles up as a chopping board
Fold-out extension to the worktop to maximise the usable space
Armitage Shanks Belfast ceramic sink — genuine ceramic, full depth, no splashing
Kitchen tap with two modes (spray/normal), pull-out head to 1m, flow-stop button on the head
60L Dometic fridge — three-way automatic: runs on LPG, 12V or 240V depending on what is available; genuinely roomy
Real walnut worktops, 27mm, Osmo oiled — treated and extremely easy to wipe down
Memory foam upholstered cushions on the seating area

WATER & GAS
90L fresh water tank, undermounted — frees up all internal storage space
60L grey water tank, also undermounted
15L portable drinking water tank — fillable from any tap, so the main tank lasts longer
25L LPG tank, undermounted — fillable at any LPG petrol station pump (European adaptor included); external cutoff valve; external connection point for a gas barbecue direct from the van supply

BATHROOM
The bathroom has a stunning marble-effect finish and a full-size shower — 83cm x 70cm, which is genuinely spacious. The toilet is usually moved into the living area to use the full shower, but can be left in place with a duck board to keep feet dry.

Full-size internal shower (83cm x 70cm), marble-effect finish
Simploo Original waterless composting toilet — urine-diverting, 12V fan vents to an air filter in the garage; zero smell when switched on (left on permanently); quieter than a conventional toilet
No cassette emptying at specific campervan stations — the composting system is genuinely convenient

INTERIOR & STORAGE
The interior was designed to feel like a room in a house, not a vehicle. There is no vinyl or furniture board anywhere. The result is a space that is comfortable for extended periods in a way that most campervans — however well converted — are not.

Real walnut engineered flooring — top 3mm genuine walnut, treated and extremely easy to clean
Real walnut kitchen and table surfaces — 27mm, three coats of Osmo Oil
Six wide IKEA overhead cupboards with hydraulic struts — some are very deep; all have internal shelving
Four deep drawers in the main living area, from the same IKEA range; top drawer has a hidden inner drawer for utensils
Further deep drawer under the bench seat for pots and pans
Very large storage area above the cab, accessed from the living area — carpeted on all sides; comes with two custom slide-in boxes (2mm margin fit)
More storage still in the garage and under the bench seats in the cabin
Sliding table with three fixing positions — adjustable front to back, side to side, or stowed away vertically when not needed
Skylight over 1m wide above the bed — opens to nearly 90° for access to the roof sun deck
Roof sun deck, approx. 2m x 1.7m, real timber — accessed via the skylight; used regularly by two people for sunset drinks and sunbathing
Five bespoke thermal blackout blinds — insulated with Earthwool or Celotex; reflective silver foil exterior; near-complete blackout when closed; soft enough to use as cushions
Stained pine ceiling — elongated strips give depth and space; matches the walnut surfaces
Porthole connecting cab to living area — for light or passing items through
Single lighting panel: main living area, kitchen, kitchen LED strip, bathroom and bedroom all independently controlled
Boat-grade water level gauge with backlight
Two 360° rotating reading lights by the bed, individually controlled
Dulux Brilliant White Satinwood throughout

INSULATION & BUILD
The insulation is exceptional. Every wall, ceiling, floor and door carries between 4 and 10cm of Knauf Drytherm Earthwool and Celotex boards. The van was used for 10 days in Andorra during ski season — toasty warm with the heater only occasionally required. Sound-deadening mats have been applied to all walls, ceiling and doors including the front cabin — it is genuinely quiet in the back.

4–10cm insulation throughout every panel (Knauf Drytherm Earthwool and Celotex)
Sound-deadening mats on all walls, ceiling and doors, including front cabin
Leak-proofed before insulation — all bumper panels removed, all plug holes siliconed
80% tinted windows — people can only see in if it is dark outside with lights at full; outward tint is only about 20%
The exterior has been left deliberately understated — humble on the outside, luxury inside; parks anywhere without drawing attention

TECH & EXTRAS
Quick-charging USB sockets in living area and bed area; standard 12V car ports in living area
Milenco Quattro levelling ramps — the most lift of any ramp on the market; park anywhere
Nest Protect smart smoke and CO alarm
Steering wheel lock
Hi-viz vests and warning triangle (required in several EU countries)
All original manuals for all utilities

SUMMARY
This van is being sold to release capital — not because anything is wrong with it. It has been owned and maintained with genuine care, driven extensively across Europe, and built to a specification that most professional conversions do not reach.

The van has proven hire potential: it has successfully rented at £100/day, with demand running from spring through to late autumn. A buyer wanting to offset running costs has a straightforward route to do so.

Three to six months of after-sales telephone support is offered to the right buyer. The seller knows it inside out and wants the new owner to get the full benefit of it.

Beds Description

Fixed double bed, large enough for a 6’1″ man
King-size Emma memory foam fixed bed — fewer than 150 nights use
Fold-away bed step — when stowed, it is invisible; it looks exactly like the walnut floor
Third berth available via extendable bench configuration with upholstered mattress — 190cm length
