Polly is in fantastic condition & a very comfortable microcamper for your adventures ~ she’s fully insulated & features internal electrics, great for off grid & wild camping!
Self converted as our campervan for our travels through Europe Summer 2022, we visited 14 countries in total. Polly enabled us to complete 6 months travelling Europe ~ Valencia, Spain & the tip of the Balkans in Albania were our furthest points 🙂
Polly is suitable for a single adult, couple or anyone who’s keen to travel minimally would also benefit from this set up.
We’ve found a smaller van to be a wonderful way to explore, giving us so much freedom. The Caddy drives & parks like a car, where you would struggle getting a larger van into spaces etc. but gives you the ability to pack up and move on every day like a camper. The outer remains as a ‘panel van’ exterior, so also discreet enough for ‘stealth’ camping.
For daily use, we used collapsible items i.e. water containers, washing up bowls, solar shower…and emergency toilet/ urinal! Large items such as fold up table & chairs stored in the ‘garage’ roof box, stove & gas canisters kept inside the van seating unit (items mentioned not supplied, just an idea of how to use the set up). Detachable canopy is quick to put up and very beneficial as sun shade & also from rain, the tent fabric dries out quickly.
Electrics were efficient & reliable enough to charge 2 phones, a laptop & iPad at the same time, whilst also continually keeping our 12v fridge running. We invested in a portable Wi-Fi router, well worth the money, which also charged through van electrics (fridge & router mentioned, not included).
Owned less than 24 months, only selling due to backpacking plans for a couple of years 2023-24. Unfortunately we cannot store the vehicle while away, so it’s time someone else has some fun with her!
