This is our beautiful campervan, Neville.

A professionally converted 2016 Vauxhall Vivaro (ULEZ compliant, L2H1) with seatbelted seats for 4 and space for 2 to sleep, it’s the perfect campervan for a couple, small family, or solo traveller. We’ve visited Cornwall, France, Germany and more over the last few years with many happy memories; and are selling to upgrade to a bigger van as our family grows.

Designed to our own specs to allow maximum flexibility, the default configuration is with bench seating allowing easy access to the Dometic fridge, Moroccan sink (brought home in hand luggage from a market in Marakesh) and the plentiful storage above and below. The bench seat lifts up for storage (perfect for duvet and sheets) and then pulls out to make a small foam double bed, with a layer of memory foam to make your sleep smooth. A roof window with bug screen opens up to give you a nighttime breeze when in hot climates, with the two front windows also sliding open.

There’s warm spot lighting throughout the van, operated through a combination of switches and touch, perfect for staying up to finish the last chapter of your favourite book. With USB-A sockets powered by the leisure battery and three-pin plugs when you’re hooked up, you’ll have plenty of electricity wherever you are. The two 110ah leisure batteries are charged via a split-charge relay whenever the engine is running or you’re hooked up to power.

For cooking, there’s a portable double gas burner for maximum flexibility. It stores out of sight underneath the passenger seats and can then be used both inside and outside the van; we’ve found that 99% of the time we cook outside.

The van is also great for carrying people around with three seats in the front; we specifically fitted a fourth rear-facing seatbelted seat in the back, professionally supplied and fitted by ScottSeat and bolted into the chassis of the van for safety. The Vivaro has cruise control, air conditioning, bluetooth radio and reversing parking sensors. We’ve got a Fiamma bike carrier for two bikes on the back that we’ll throw in with the van too.

The van does have a dent and scratches down its right hand side, thanks to an incident with an unhelpfully placed lamppost (see pic). We’ve had a couple of quotes from local garages to fix it that total ~£1000 and as a result have reduced the asking price by that much, so the buyer can decide whether they want to fix it or not. There’s no impact on safety from the dent.

Has recently renewed MOT until February 2024 and previous MOTs have all been straightforward. We have a Vango inflatable drive-away awning that we’d sell at cost too if interested.
