Vehicle Details:
• Model: 2007 Peugeot Boxer 2.8 HDI
• Engine: 2.8L Turbo Diesel
• Gearbox: 5 Speed Manual
• Mileage: Approximately 86,000 miles

Recent Updates:

Bodywork:
• This has been a European travelling camper van and as such, as some minor bodywork damage from our adventures! The larger dents are on the drivers side (pictured) and underneath the sliding door. These dents are cosmetic only and don’t affect the van at all. Drivers side dent – someone reversed into us when parked up at Ben Nevis and the sliding door bump was present when we bought it already.

Additional Features:
• Roof Rack: Includes a roof rack with rear door access ladder and 4 fog-lights on the front with cab switch.
• Tyres: Four tyres with substantial tread and a brand new full-size spare tyre underneath

Maintenance:
• A full service will be completed before the sale.

We have owned this van since early 2020 and we’ve loved every second of owning it. It has never failed us on any of our many European and UK adventures (which included Scotland, Isle of Skye, France, Holland, Slovenia, Poland, Germany, Italy to name a few!) We’ve loved and cared for it dearly making sure it’s always serviced and maintained well.
We replaced the timing belt & water pump in summer of 2021. Both front wheel bearings were replaced at the same time. All this work was completed by a BOSCH certified garage in Poland.
It starts and runs smoothly and is great to drive short or long distance (We’ve pretty much only used it for longer distances and not just to drive to the shops). It has a limiter fitted at 66 miles an hour (from the days of being a school bus) but can be removed, we’ve opted to keep it on to protect the engine and it also works well as a ‘cruise control’ on those long motorway drives.

We’re selling it as we’ve now outgrown it and decided we’re switching to the 4×4 lifestyle, if we had the space on the drive we’d probably keep it alas, it’s time for it to find a new loving home with people who will love it as much as we do!

Conversion Description

Welcome to Our Adventure-Ready Van!
We designed and built this van to be the perfect companion for a couple and their large dog, which is exactly how we’ve been using it. From crafting the interior with our joiner neighbour to choosing each feature with care, we poured our hearts into making this van both functional and inviting. It’s got a large, deep sink with a stylish faucet and a 2-burner stove that’s perfect for cooking up meals after a day of exploring. It has lots of power – we’d always charge two laptops, camera gear, run Starlink, fridge, heater etc. and never had any issues with power running low. The batteries charge quickly in the daytime and it also has a connector to the alternator to enable charging while you drive – perfect use in the evenings.
We’ve had a lot of fun building this van and we’ve never planned to sell it but after 4 years and countless adventures we’ve decided to swap to a 4×4 car and shift our focus to more rugged off-road adventures. Now, we’re excited to pass it on to someone who’ll love it just as much as we have.
Van Features:
• Large, deep sink with stylish faucet
• Corner shelf unit next to the sink
• 2-burner stove for easy meal preparation & lots of prep space
• Max air fan with remote to keep the interior fresh
• Diesel heater for cozy nights
• 365W Canadian Solar Mono Half Cell panels, 30A MMPT charge controller with display meter for reliable power
• Two new 110 amp leisure batteries
• 70L water tank neatly installed under the bed
• Brand new (used once!) hot tap mounted in the garage – prefect for warm showers. You can also take it off and use it for warm water in the sink etc. It comes with all original attachments like the filter, legs etc.
• Dellonda 50L Portable Dual Zone Compressor Fridge Freezer (two compartments can be set to two different temperatures or remove divider for one large space)
• Ample storage with secure latches on all shelves and drawers
• Doggy gate for pet safety in the garage – can be removed if needed.
• Additional shelving by the door for practical storage solutions

We built this van with durability and comfort in mind, ensuring every mile traveled is a joy. Whether you’re planning weekend getaways or longer journeys, this van is ready to accommodate all your adventures. Please note – if you’re looking for a high end finish van, this is not the van for you. Penny was built by us, for us, with love and affection but it is rough around the edges. Everything is perfectly functional and works well, but sometimes a drawer might get jammed and the curtains were hand sawn. This is a perfect van for a couple (or a singleton!) who just want to go on an adventure in a reliable, functional van without spending £40K on the perfect build. With a little bit of TLC it will serve you for years and years to come.
We will be including more photos to it soon! If you have any questions at all please ask.

Beds Description

The van has a double bed set up in the back as a floating bed witdthway. We’ve built it on an IKEA bed frame with sponge mattress for underlay and a fantastic memory foam topper on top. It’s just slightly shorter than a regular double but it’s never been an issue for the two of us sleeping on it – we’re 5’2 & 5’11. It would also suit a single person over 6″ as then you can sleep on it diagonally. The bed is set up high enough to accommodate garage space below it.
