Vehicle Description
Driven 136k miles, 1.9 TDI diesel, 104 PS, 5 speed box, Sony Bluetooth stereo, aircon, 3 belted front seats, 5 spoke load rated VW alloys, tyres all in excellent condition, chrome side bars, 1 electronic fob key, MOT until Oct 2024. 38-42mpg.
Front ball joints and wishbones replaced in Sept 2021, always regularly serviced – last full service Oct 2023. Solid flywheel conversion kit fitted 2013, timing belt replaced Nov 2012 at 85893 miles.
Brake discs and pads replaced Sept 2022.
Gear box transmission valve and alternator replaced Jan 2024.
Engine in excellent working order and will happily do another 250k miles, bodywork in good condition – panels recently replaced and resprayed, it looks mint and will stand the test of time.
Beds Description
Poptop bed is on hydraulic struts, it will sleep two people, approx size 1.2m x 2.0m. The bench seat pulls out into a double bed next to the kitchen, the bed is made from birch ply and is a slatted pullout design, it will sleep two people, cushions are 3 inch high density foam and a 1 inch memory foam top, over-all lower bed dimensions are approx 1.1m x 1.9m.
Conversion Description
The conversion was fitted in May 2019 professionally by The Soulful Explorer campervan conversions. Complete one of a kind conversion produced to a very high standard. Colour matched poptop fitted by Cannon Campers with hydraulic sleeping platform several months before. Conversion includes Kiravans double seat swivel, Kiravans 2kW diesel heater (MV Airo 2), Fiamma F45S awning, 500W inverter, 240v hookup with battery charging system, double household plug sockets for both inverter and 240v hookup, 25m hookup cable included, 110Ah leisure battery with split charge relay system, usb and 12v charger points, LED touch and dimmable spotlights x4. Slatted pull-out birch ply double bed with storage underneath, professionally upholstered cushions with 3” high density foam and 1” memory foam. Birch ply kitchen with oak worktop and plenty of storage, 25L fresh water container, electric water pump, Dometic double hob and sink, approx 40L 12v coolbox which plugs in to rear of kitchen, fold down table at end of kitchen unit, gas safety cupboard with Campingaz 907 bottle, carbon monoxide alarm, gas certificate from when conversion was completed (May 2019). External windscreen cover, thermal cab screens, blackout curtains for all rear windows.
200w solar panel installed in July 2022 providing off-grid facilities for a few days at least.
Has a few quirks as does any vehicle of this age, but mechanically totally sound.
This is such an awesome and reliable van, we’ve had many UK/EU adventures, very reluctantly having to sell as I now need a car for work.
