Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

“Rosie” Reguis is a reliable and mighty little drive for her age!! Toyota combined bullet proof engines and high-spec luxury cabs that you simply won’t find at this price with any other make van of this age. She has a fantastic 2.7l powerful automatic engine with turboboost, meaning she cruises and accelerates effortlessley at 70mph on the motorways, but handles hills and local roads in low gears without a sweat.
The cab has aircon, electric windows and electric mirrors, with a DAB radio and reversing camera, making any journey as comfortable as a modern van. We are only selling her as we have bought another Toyota Reguis but with a Hightop roof. If like us you’ve been considering a Mazda Bongo but find them a bit small inside, then a Toyota Hiace is the perfect alternative. These vans are a bit longer than a Bongo, so there’s foot space (for a loo!) when the bed is down at night, but they are a bit narrower than a Transporter/Transit van. So If you are looking for a camper that can also be a daily drive, squeeze down narrow roads and fit into a normal parking space, then Rosie is perfect!

MOT β€˜til Jan 26. Automatic, petrol.
5 seatbelts.
Undersealed on Import
Automatic
Central Locking ( via driver’s door, not remote locking)
Cab Aircon
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Tinted rear windows
5 seat belts (3 on rear seat)
front captain seats with armrests
Swivel passenger seat
DAB Bluetooth radio with reversing camera
Retractable sun roof over living area giving an open window and loads of daylight over living area, even with the curtains closed.
Lift up sunroof over cab. Both have integrated night covers.

Rosie has a very smooth automatic drive and is my preference over my manual car.
Not ULEZ compliant for Bristol or Bath, but currently compliant in other cities.
We have owned since Jan 2022. 6 former owners (including us).
Registered with DVLA as a Private Light Goods Vehicle.
Average running costs:
Tax: Β£350 annual
Insurance: Β£350 annual with 3 years NCB
Petrol: Rosie has a big engine and fuel consumption averages 27mgp cities, 30mpg motorways. (But the cost of this is offset by her reliability and buying a van with her high spec cab at this price. Note: the Odometer reading is in Km, not miles and will increase slightlybefore sale with use.

Date of works:
Since we owned, all MOT and repairs were carried out by specialist Japanese import garage in Bristol. Full paper work since ownership. Full service completed annually with MOT
MOT until Jan 2026
MOT Advisories: possible oil leak checked Mar 25, NO leak; 2 new front tyres May 2025
New engine battery 2023
New radiator Jan 2024
Both front suspension ball arm joints replaced 2023 and 2024
Aircon regassed August 2024
Brakes serviced August 2024
Rust free undercarriage and wheel hubs

We removal the old decals and completed full detailing of bodywork. Few minor cosmetic area’s I’ve treated with colour coded paint.
Always used E5 petrol (and recommend continuing to use to protect the engine).
