Very sad to be selling my much loved camper conversion – really want it to go to a good home!
124k miles, major service completed in September 2025 (service history with extensive paperwork present for all works completed) and MOT not due until April 2026. Vehicle in great condition being 11 years old- underside is extremely clean with no signs of structural rust. This van has a hell of a lot of life left in it and it drives like a dream with plenty of pull to get you out of muddy fields – being the gold standard Mercedes camper you’d expect nothing less! Mechanics:
– Fresh service completed in September 2025
– Clean MOT in March 2025
– New All-Season tyres in 2024 (Bridgestone Duravis)
– Clutch, flywheel and rear brakes 02/24
– New aux belt 06/23 @103k miles
– New front shocks and ball joints 04/23 @101k miles
– I added a nudge bar at the front and a custom made rear ladder/spare wheel holder on the rear (worth over a grand brand new!) – This not only looks great, but is helpful for gaining access to the roof if needed.
The van is fully insulated all round with a combination of 25/50mm Celotex, Dodo fleece and Dodo thermoliner – so perfectly warm in winter and keeps things cool in summer – also helped by the brand new Normadic Ark Airplus fan in the front and roof-light in the rear above the bed (both have black out blinds). There is plenty of above head cupboard space, kitchen units, underseat storage, bulk head space, plus the garage in the rear. It should also be noted that it comes with a custom rear ladder/spare wheel storage and c-grip awning rail (Stitches and Steel 125 awning included). Now for the breakdown:
Electrics: (professionally installed parts with paperwork and instruction booklets present)
– Brand new Lithium battery 200Ah – links via bluetooth to phone
– New Renogy 2000W Inverter/Charger (newest version – changes DC to AC and AC to DC to charge the leisure battery)
– Renogy DC to DC Battery Charger (charges leisure battery from alternator) – links via bluetooth to phone
– 300w Solar Panels (Renogy MPPT) – never even had to plug in!
– 240v Mains Hook-up System
– 3 x 240v sockets and USB sockets
– AMT-12 trickle charger – this ensures the starter battery is always charged using charge from the leisure battery (which charges from hook up or solar panels) – peace of mind that you will never be left stranded! NB settings can be adjusted to suit
– New Apricool fridge (DC hardwired)
– New Diesel Heater with remote control
– New Normadic Ark AirPlus fan with remote control
– 10l water heater with digital control – automatic DC to AC (connected to 240v socket)
– 6lpm Shurflo water pump and accumulator
– 12v hardwired TV and additional fans above bed
– LED lighting split across 4 ‘zones’
Kitchen:
– Beautiful butler sink and custom made copper tap with switch and submersible pump with 2 x 10l tanks stored below (1 fresh, 1 grey).
– Induction hob with 2 rings – linked to 240 plug installed below (NO gas!)
– Hard wood and oiled kitchen top with splash back
– Under cabinet lighting
Shower: (hot and cold water)
– 38l underslung waste tank (plumbed and linked to level sensor)
– 54l wheel arch fresh water tank (plumbed and linked to level sensor)
– Fully tanked/sealed, marble shower panels and brand new black fittings (plumbing completed by professional)
– Cubical also used as a toilet using Thetford portapotty (shower curtain for privacy) – included if wanted!
Bedroom and Living Space:
– Bed extends to a full double with plenty of space (I am 6 foot tall)
– 5″ custom foam mattress – VERY comfy
– Overhead storage and under cabinet lighting
– 12v Smart TV installed
– Seating with custom cushions and discrete pull-out desk/table – perfect for working or eating while on the move
