Mercedes Sprinter LWB 3500kg
An exciting opportunity for someone to explore the UK and beyond. With this covert build, you can enjoy city stays as well as long weekends in the countryside. I finished this conversion last year (2021), and have only used it for a couple of months. Meaning everything inside is still very new, and ready for someone to make their own π
I have put a lot of attention to detail into this build, wishing to create something which will not only last for many years to come, but also feels comfortable to be in and nice to look at.
The van itself has been maintained very well through its life, with full service history available. Bonnie is a dream to drive, and her new owners will have years of incredible vanlife memories in front of them.

3,500kg Merc Sprinter (2015).
6 Gears.
99,700 miles.
Full service history available.
6 months MOT (expires Dec 22nd 2022)
Bodywork is in very good condition overall, just a couple of usual marks for its age. No rust issues underneath the vehicle.
Runs perfectly with no mechanical issues to report.
Latest MOT states advisory- “Nearside Front Shock absorbers has a reduced damping effect (5.3.2 (d))”. I had the affected shock absorber replaced in February for a new genuine part.
This van comes equipped with a reverse camera, making parking a breeze! Something which comes in particularly handy if you are not used to driving a van this size.

Conversion Details-
– Leisure battery.
– CTEK split charger (charges leisure battery from the alternator when driving, and ready for future solar panel connection).
– X2USB ports and X1 cigarette socket.
– Fuse box for easily adding new equipment/gadgets into the van.
– Safety cut off switch to the fuse box.
– 2 ring gas hob.
– Electric switch tap with 12V water pump and 25L water tank.
– Diesel heater (with remote). This is fantastic for use during the winter, effectively warming the whole van and giving a cosy cabin vibe.
– Ceiling vent with fan (blows and sucks air).
– Insulated floor and subfloor in place underneath the top layer of engineered wood floor boards, meaning you can screw directly into the floor to secure things (such as a table leg).
– Insulated walls and ceiling with 100mm thick sheep wool. This material βbreathesβ and helps to maintain a dry and comfortable living environment.
– All cladding has had several layers front and back with danish oil, eliminating potential for any future warping of the wood.
– Sturdy metal door connecting and securing the back from the front of the van, adding security when staying in the back.
– Two beds with potential to sleep 3 to 4 people. The back bed is 6 foot 2 in length, and the width of a single bed. However, it could easily be turned into the full width of the van with very small modification, if someone preferred a wider bed. Both beds pull out from bench form, and lift to provide storage underneath. Sofas/Beds all have 5 inch foam on them (which is very comfortable).
– There is loads of storage in this van! every seating area or bed lifts to provide plenty of storage underneath, and there’s even more in the kitchen space.
– To wash, there is a portable pop up bath, which can be used for a bucket wash.
