NEW ENGINE @ 92000 miles. NEW CLUTCH @ 78000 miles. NEW DISCS & PADS @ 85000 miles. My van has been very well looked after over the time I’ve owned it with a full service book and being very sensibly driven. The new engine was due to a rock strike to the underside of the engine block, I can provide more info and pics upon request. It’s the 2.2TDCI reliable Ford engine, with a 6 speed manual. The Limited spec van has all the creature comforts you could want, auto lights and wipers, cruise control, heated seats, heated windscreen and a dual armrest drivers seat which you won’t find on another van. The body work is well looked after and I’ve made security upgrades including a new key barrel to stop break-ins, dead locks on the side and rear doors as well as a 24hr monitored tracker which you can pay a subscription for which reduces your insurance premium greatly. The van has a spare wheel and a complete winter tyre and wheel set.
This van is a very unique conversion. I did everything myself except from fitting the underslung LPG tank and the Propex heater. I can provide more info on the conversion specifics upon request. It has plenty of storage under the bed for all your adventuring requirements and cupboards above the bed provide amble clothes storage. The van is fully insulated everywhere (including the cab ceiling) which makes it a great year round van providing myself with many winters in the alps, its heated by a Propex HS2000 with 2 outlets and a digital thermostat. Energy is provided by Victron controllers via 300 watts solar on the roof rack and a DC-DC charger, Bosch batteries provide 280AH. The kitchen has a spice rack, cupboard with storage above, Vitrifrigo c50i fridge freezer, Dometic oven with grill, large pull out draw, large sink and a 25L water tank with 9L grey tank. The van has an awning for sun/rain protection and the table is usable outside for BBQ’s and dining with an add on drinks table. The van has a fully opening motorhome style window even in the rain and a Fiamma roof vent with turbo fan. Multiple windscreen coverings will be supplied.
The van is a comfortable 2 berth with a 160x200cm slide out bed which has a very easy operation.
