Created using various materials including Italian Merino laminates, Faux Leather, Suede and Alcantara which just oozes quality.
Due to be featured in the VW Bus magazine again in feb 23!
The vehicle has all the modern features such as Air con, parking sensors all round, Brake assist, Active Cruise Control, Traction Control, Eco, Normal, Comfort or Sports driving modes, Bluetooth/Dab Head unit, Thunderbolt connections for App Connect, Electric fold away mirrors, Heated screen with rain/light sensor and a Multifunction Steering wheel connected to the vehicle’s computer/driving data.
The Campervan boasts an array of key unique Design features developed in house, showcased at last years Camperjam 22 where they were so well received, we came away with a Best of Class Award!
Features such as our trademark 2-part extended worksurfaces/Dining tables, which lend themselves to working whilst on the road, preparing meals, dinning or just socialising by having enough space to comfortably enjoy the living space that 4 people can sit around together! This being made possible by the use of the 2 front swivel seats and the 160mm slide function set in the rear seat.
Other features such as the bedside night light above the shelf at the rear of the camper, there you also find a 12v charging point and the switch for the light, ideal for chilling in bed, drinks, phones, books etc conveniently placed at arm’s length.
There is a motion sensor Led light in the kitchen cabinet, this clever little touch helps to illuminate the whole cabinet in times of poor lighting, as the tambour door opens, on comes the light.
The Led strip lighting at either side of the camper have both warm and cool lighting within the same fitting, the white lights are activated by the doors being opened and time out after a substantial amount of time, and the Warm lighting can be switched on at any time from the double switch on the panel next to the sliding door. There is also a Warm strip light mounted in the ceiling which can be used as extra lighting if required or helps to illuminate the upper section of the camper when the pop to roof is elevated as the light is set into the ceiling/bed panel and moves accordingly. There is also a touch Led dimmable warm light in the top bunk for our guests, together with a 12v charger point in the roof space.
Another key design feature is our trademark under the seat 2x23L water containers, conveniently situated not only for ease of use, with twice the capacity of the standard containers used within most campers, but more importantly, allows a much more usable space within the kitchen unit, instead of it housing the water containers. There is also storage directly behind the water containers, accessible when we lift the seat base up, enough space for shoe etc.
Our last key design feature is our re-working of the popular West Dubs pop top roof bed, this we find to be a great product, well made and easy to use, but we really needed a BI-fold roof bed which didn’t have the gas struts visible within the camper living area. So, after much time spent on drawing, designing and creating mock ups on the bench, we finally were able to neatly hide the struts leaving smooth fine lines and a great working roof bed with plenty of head room.
The kitchenette has a sink and double burner gas hob (gas stored in the gas safe at the rear of the camper) a soft close cutlery drawer, a spacious illuminated base unit, a top box storage unit, and a 65L Isotherm fridge freezer.
The Rear of the van has a very comfortable 2-seater seat bed with detachable headrests, which works rather like the rib seat beds as they are contoured and so flip over onto the upholstered back to sleep on. This is also isofix.
There is a shelved storage unit with a tambour door, an open shelved unit too which also house’s a pair of Hertz speakers which are connected to a separate Bluetooth head unit with remote control fitted beneath the light switches next to the sliding door. This sounds great when playing music or streaming from iPads, laptops or phones. Also benefitting from a soft closing drawer at the rear of the camper, and a low-level storage compartment next to the driver side rear wheel arch, which has a soft closing door. Above the Gas safe is a cheeky little open shelf unit too.
Rear storage is great above and beneath the 3rd section of the seat bed, large illuminated areas available for all bedding and baggage.
The Shadow Grey also has a diesel heater with LCD screen and remote control.
Exterior styling consists of Black 18” wheels with Cooper Discoverer 60/40 ATT 235×55 tyres, Mud guards, side bars and bumper protectors front and rear. Glass all round, with a rear facing flush fitting sliding window, perfect for rear passengers and letting out any steam from the hob.
a double fold down seat bed in the rear of the camper and a double bed up in the roof when elevated
