Welcome to our Peugeot Boxer long wheel base campervan.

This smart campervan is a joy to drive. With excellent acceleration the engine takes all types of roads in its stride from mountains to motorways. It’s a joy to set off with the expectation of seeking out new adventures knowing you can stop when and where you want. The van is clean, tidy, well cared for and is ideal for extended periods of travel or for shorter breaks – it’s a great feeling to get on the road and feel the freedom…

THE VAN
• ‘Firehouse Campers’ of Cornwall carried out this tasteful, high specification conversion in December 2019
• Unique van with a ’Wendy’ wood stove from ‘Windy Smithy’ of Devon
• Comfortable, practical and cosy with a beautiful wood interior
• A straightforward layout offers plenty of space to sleep, cook, relax and stow away your essentials
• Plenty of accessible storage
• Ideal for a substantial road trip, weekends away or an off grid lifestyle
• Excellent standing room – 1.90m (6’2″)
• Secret cupboard

KITCHEN/GALLEY
• Due to the ergonomic design preparing food in the kitchen is a pleasure, with plenty of space to put things down and move around
• Fitted along the offside of the vehicle
• Equipped with a generously sized stainless steel worktop that includes a fixed inset sink and draining board
• Cold-water swivel tap powered by a switched 12v pump
• Two easy to carry 25 litre water containers (stored in the rear of the van – convenient access for water refills)
• ‘Voyager 4500’ fixed gas cooker with two burners, grill and oven. It has an 8mm copper hose gas system, the gas bottle is accessed in the storage area under the bed
• ‘Dometic CRX65’ 50litre 12V compressor fridge with optional freezer compartment.

SLEEPING AREA
• A cosy and private area in the rear of the van, ideal for a comfortable nights sleep and a wonderful place for a daytime nap
• Bed 1.78m x 1.37m (approx. 6’x 4’6’) in the rear, fixed across the width of the van with spacious storage underneath.
• Base of the bed is constructed with wooden slats and suits a double futon mattress (not included)

STORAGE
• Easy access storage – cupboards, shelves & hooks
• Discrete marine style brass ‘finger catches’ on all cupboards/doors and drawer; easy to use and stay shut when you’re on the move
• Double door cupboard beneath the sink with rear shelf
• Large drawer for cutlery, tea towels etc.
• Handy cupboard under the cooker, ideal for pots and pans. This is where the gas drain is located.
• Secret cupboard
• Under bed storage with ‘cubbyholes’ on both sides accessed by double doors from the interior of the van
• Plenty of room for storage boxes, baskets and adequate space for a portable toilet (not included)
• Partition wall approximately two thirds back separates under bed storage from ‘garage’ area at the rear of the van
• ‘Garage’ area – room for water containers, storing camping paraphernalia, tools etc. accessed through the rear double doors
• Four generous sized cupboards; ideal spaces for storing footwear, clothing, books etc.
• Large overhead storage above cab
• Various hooks in convenient places

SHELVES
• For essential items there is an eye-level shelf that runs the length of the galley with stainless steel ‘rope’ to keep items in place
• Shelf across the width of the sleeping area and a small corner shelf for your morning cuppa, books etc.
• Large shelf above four cupboards

TABLE/SEATING
• Table – rectangular ‘leg & rail’ style
• Passenger seat – can be swivelled to face the living area.

WINDOWS /VENTILATION
• Side windows and skylights – professionally fitted by ‘Cornwall Van Windows’
• Blackout blinds fitted by ‘Swell Blinds’ of Cornwall on side windows – excellent system, discrete and functional
• Small sliding window in top right of galley window, great ventilation especially when cooking
• Two skylights, centrally positioned, one above the main area and the second above sleeping area both with integral sliding blinds and fly screens
• Cab windows and windscreen have internal thermal covers if required for privacy and warmth

LIGHTING
• Positioned to give excellent lighting when preparing food, washing up, reading etc.
• Switched lighting system
• Three fixed 12v LED down lights (warm white), fitted into the bottom of the shelving above the galley with two switches
• Central main cabin LED light (bright) with integral on/off switch
• Two marine brass reading LED spotlights in sleeping area with integral on/off switches

USB PORTS
• Two USB ports – kitchen & sleeping areas
• Discrete blue light monitors display the leisure batteries voltage.

12v SYSTEM/ELECTRICS
• 12v electrical system incorporating 2 x 80Ah AGM batteries charged by a voltage sensitive relay from the vehicles alternator charge system
• Easily accessible yet out of sight, the electrics control box is discretely mounted in the cupboard beneath the sink with the two leisure batteries housed under the rear shelf

SOLAR PANELS
• Roof mounted
• 2 x 100watt solar panels
• Through charge controller and fused distribution system for lighting and 12v services

WOOD STOVE
• Cosy, easy to run and just lovely!
• The ‘Wendy’ wood stove stands proudly on a polished granite slab that sits on a sturdy metal frame
• Space beneath the slab to safely store kindling and logs
• Fully insulated stainless steel twin wall flue with a weather cap
• Metal surround to deflect the heat
• Please note we installed the wood stove

FLOORING
• ‘Altro’ flooring
• Hardwearing, easy to clean

• Runs the length of the kitchen/living area, under the bed to the back doors
• Cab flooring – 4mm tailored black rubber van mat across the width of the cab and the ‘walk through’ from the cab to main area of the van

• Lined with pine T&G and varnished with OSMO hard wax oil
• Complimentary oatmeal coloured carpet and rope trim
• Insulated and soundproofed

THE CAB
• 177mm (7”) mirror monitor for reversing camera
• Comfortable driver and passenger seats, both with adjustable armrests with clean and smart upholstery
• Seatbelts x 2
• DAB radio with Bluetooth, USB socket, hands free, steering wheel mounted controls
