From her deep blue tiles to large butlers sink with a copper tap – Mami’s kitchen is a thing of beauty. Not only is the kitchen aesthetically pleasing, it’s also equipped with everything needed to cook a delicious feast. Whether you fancy a paella by the sea or a hotpot in the forest, Mami has the cupboard space to store ingredients and a two burner hob to cook it. There’s also a refrigerator, so you can keep leftovers to fuel your next day adventures.
Not sure whether you want to head off-grid or settle in a campsite? No problem. Mami is fully prepared for both. She offers an electric hook up point which can be plugged in at a site or two leisure batteries charged via solar panels to provide you with power on the move. Wherever you choose to go, you can guarantee warmth thanks to Mami’s woodburner – the perfect spot to snuggle up in front of on chilly evenings – pure bliss!”
Bed: Mami’s double bench lounge area turns into a double bed. The memory foam seating makes for a comfy base to rest your head at night.
Description of Seating: Two belted seats in the cab (including driver), all front facing with headrests.
Description of Electrical Setup: Mami is designed for both campsite and wild camping adventures and, most importantly, is easy to use (sometimes all those electrical switches can seem a bit daunting!) With many campsites offering electric hookup points, she can be easily hooked up when on site, meaning you can charge all your devices freely with no worries about the batteries. The van’s off grid system is run off a Jackery. A portable power station.
About the area: Mami is located in North London and lives near our house in Harringay, N8.
Cooking Equipment Included: In addition to the two-burner gas hob, Mami has everything you could need to cook up a feast, including: mugs | plates | bowls and cutlery for four | chopping board | large tumblers | stove top kettle | frying pan | large and small saucepans |various cooking utensils. Mami also has a collapsible washing-up bowl.
Water and Sanitation: Mami has a 10-litre cold water tank. These feed the kitchen sink.
Audio Equipment: Van CD stereo and radio.
Type of Heating: Mami has a lovely good sized woodburner with accessories provided.
Since Mami has been rented out for the last year, I am prepared to have it refreshed with new paint etc. before the new owner takes over.
