VW Caddy Maxi
For sale I have my manual (5 speed) 2010 VW Caddy Maxi. From factory it is a 5 seat crew cab with twin windowed, sliding doors. In my ownership I have had the windows professionally tinted, put refurbished black steel wheels on, put Audi S-Line seats in, complete conversion in the rear, changed the master cylinder, Serviced with premium oil and parts etc, installed an apple car play screen (however will come with original radio), replaced 2 anti roll bar links, 2 new all season tyres, replaced NSF wheel bearing, replaced rear discs and pads, blanked the EGR, replaced the original steering wheel for a Golf GT leather wheel and it has had a basic economy remap.
This van was owned by my father since 3 year old with all original receipts of sale from 2013, handing it down to me in May 2023. We have both looked after it and spared no expense. Comes with 3 rear original seats and mounting brackets and original caddy heavy load flooring for rear.
It is the 1.9TDI pd100 engine, known for how bulletproof they are. It’s never skipped a beat and it is unbelievably strong. The engine sounds fantastic. It is very good on diesel, getting (and there’s no guarantee) roughly 40-50MPG. It was cheap on insurance for me however obviously everyone is different. Very capable on motorways and very smooth on country roads. It has the very desirable tailgate instead of the barn doors and has a tow-bar fitted but has never towed and was only used to carry motorbikes.

Bad points:
The bodywork is not great, with it being silver, a lot of the scratches, bumps and small dents etc show up very easily. It is 13 years old so please don’t expect a brand new vehicle, it does have age related marks etc.
As you can see in the rear footwell, there is a bit of paint spilt.

My conversion is a very simple set up, it is a single bed in stowaway position and a flip over double bed fully set up. It has a 1.2m long drawer under the bed with heavy duty drawer runners and many other different spots for storage. It is carpeted by a professional and insulated and sound deadened.
It is a 185cm x 120cm bed and sleeps 2 people. It is a flip over bed
