VW Crafter / Luton camper

Fresh and clean MOT Dec 2024!!

Freshly repainted and sealed.

When you need a bit more space than your ordinary camper allows!

2.5l turbo diesel. Milage is under 150,000 which is nothing for these engines. Most you’ll see advertised have 250-300,000 on the clock.

Mechanically it’s had a new Turbo less than 5k miles ago, the Abs pump and actuator were replaced (common issue with these Crafters, you don’t need to worry about)

So much to list, but I’ll give it a try:

2x double beds, one folds out from a sofa, one fixed, above cab.

3 MOT certified seats in rear

Solar panel, full 12v setup with good battery

Led light strip and spotlights.

On demand Gas hot water heater. Space for 2 gas bottles under sink.

3 way cool box style fridge. Best run off gas or mains hook up.

Loads of storage under and over bed, at cab end and kitchen area.

Diesel night heater

Fully fitted kitchen with sink, hob, etc

Shower (which also has a sink and folding door. We put a camping loo in there. Shower has never been used.

Cut through to cab. Cab has had passenger seats removed. Middle seat area is now a little table, far left box I have a 12v coolbox for easy access to drinks etc when pitched up. This setup might need to be altered if you fit a passenger seat.

All walls and ceiling insulated with selotex 50mm.

Flooring is high quality German dark oak laminate.

Folding table (foldaway). Dining area could also be used as a 3rd sleeping area.

Secure barn style doors and windows from a caravan. Steps to enter as shown.

12v TV with Dvd player and USB/HMI inputs

Loads of 12v USB sockets, 9 USB, 5 cigar type.

Mains hook up sockets as well as inverter and sockets. 230/240v

Stereo speakers with 0.5mm jack for use with phones, radios, etc

Bike rack on back

Wiring for parking sensors

External ultra bright LED light

On demand water pump from main water butt mounted under chassis.

There is also a drinking water tap and smaller pump from a 5l bottle under the sink.

In theory this could be a permanent, livable space or an Airbnb dwelling. Just need to, ideally, hook it up to mains water.
