I bought Kiki in 2010 with a view to giving my young family and myself memorable weekends and holidays away. I learned that the previous owner had bought the van shortly after a full refurb and had Calypso Campers install the interior. Along the way we’ve upgraded to the 2.0L engine (2015), installed a new clutch, brakes, front beam, exhaust system, heat exchangers and replaced the original concertina pop-top with a great Space Roofs solution in 2021. We’ve had servicing and various improvements every year. Whilst still very shiny and smiley, Kiki has some minor rust to be expected for a 50 year old vehicle that is used throughout the year. Overall Kiki is in fine shape as a result of being mostly garaged since 2010.
We’ve been to many parts of the UK and to France and had glorious times with Kiki. We’re sad to say goodbye but times have changed for us as family. As you may be traveling some distance to view Iโm happy to answer any questions over the phone during early evenings and weekends and offer a preliminary video tour. This is so that you can view Kiki and see whether she is the right campervan for you.
