Advertising ‘Nigella’ too early in the season, (way before the sun shone and we all started thinking about campervan adventures!) has meant that although she is an amazing and well maintained vehicle I still unexpectedly have her for sale. Having never owned a T2 before, or even had the VW dream, I took Nigella on 5 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Iβm now wanting to find the right person / family to take Nigella on and for them to have as many amazing campervan adventures with her as we have done.
Originally a Danbury Rio conversion on import in 2003, I have renovated the inside creating a bespoke crafted interior whilst keeping the Danbury spec. Webasto 12v heater. 3/4 Rock ‘n’ Roll bed quickly converts into comfortable lower bed with plenty of storage space underneath. Full side run of cabinets on the passenger side under a gold leaf worktop. Double gas hob with grill, stainless steel sink with tap, electric water pump & container, gas locker, 12V coolbox fridge, cupboards with willow basketry doors. Rear sliding windows on both sides. 2 Interior lights. Professional upholstery throughout in blue tweed fabric with french vintage fabric black out curtains. Bespoke willow bed linen lidded basket sits at rear in spare wheel space. Rush sun visors, curtain tie backs and trim. Buddy seat with portable toilet. Separate table. Thermal cab and rear window screens. Full dust cover. Alpine Stereo with front & rear speakers.
Fitted in 2019 by Space Roofs the contrasting aquamarine pop top roof enables great head room when camping with the pull out bed board quickly converting space into the extra 2 berths. 4 bed drive away awning tent and SafeTpedal lock included in sale.
Has a few quirks and a few slight rust bubbles as I’m sure does any Brazilian T2 of this age, but ‘Nigella’ is a special and reliable campervan who over the past 5 years has given my family and myself many UK adventures. Selling as commencing a new campervan project.
