Reluctant sale of our much loved Long Wheel Base Campervan.
Camper conversion was commissioned through Vanscape in Devon in Jan 2018.

Base Vehicle:
Volkswagen Transporter T5 (5.1) T30 LWB 2.0 Litre TDI 140 (Diesel)

- Ontario Green – I’ve not seen another on the road in this colour.
- Standard Black bumpers match well with the dark green – see photos.
- 140 BHP engine – makes the vehicle great to drive compared to a 102 version.
- The engine is completely standard, no modifications, ‘chipping’ etc. 36 mpg.
- LWB (Long Wheel Base) – makes quite a difference.
- Rear Parking Sensors – very helpful with the Long Wheel Base van!
- Tailgate – essential for packing the van up in the rain!
- VW Tow Bar and Rear Heated Window – part of new vehicle order spec.
- Startline Edition with the Comfort Pack. This means:
– Hand rails
– Air Conditioning
– Multi Function Display (driver information system)
– better audio and Bluetooth audio on the Stereo. - Standard speakers in the front and extra in the back through the conversion.
- 2 x T6 ‘Captain’s chairs’ seats with arms rests in front, both on swivel platforms, up/down, forward/backward, lumbar adjustments etc. Reupholstered through converters with matching green thread trim.
- RIB Seat/bed in back is extra wide and seats x 3, so 5 people can travel in this van.
- V5 body type is correct: ‘Motor Caravan’, reclassified following conversion.
- 2 remote keys/immobilisers, plus 1 standard key (just does vehicle lock).
- Central locking, standard VW security.
- Upgraded Tailgate Struts 1250N

Previous owner bought through Imperial Commercial (VW Derby) in 2017 – Approved used VW with 74,000 miles. Sold at 86,000. We have also added 12,000 miles.

- Full service history, all VW until 2017, including cambelt service at 74,000 miles.
- Last service and MOT Oct 23.
Work done in the last 25,000 miles:
- Rear Parking Sensors – very helpful with the Long Wheel Base van! ~£270
- New Clutch and flywheel replaced – Feb 2019 – VW Van Centre Cheltenham – all genuine VW parts and labour ~£2000
- Bilstein shocks and springs all around – first owner lowered the vehicle slightly – previous owner returned vehicle to OEM spec. ~£800
- Genuine VW T6 Devonport alloys with Continental Tyres, locking wheel nuts
- New side door lower roller replaced.
- Reimo side rail fitted for awning attachment, rain gutter above drivers’ door.
Cabin in excellent condition especially for age and use.
Bodywork in good condition. A few scuffs on wing mirror, no cracks or damage.
Paintwork good all round – minor blemishes commensurate with age and use.
Everything has been done to high specification, very happy to send more pictures and to do a Facetime or WhatsApp video call for you to look around the van before coming if you would like.
The conversion was in Feb 2018 by Vanscape in Devon; their Ben Nevis Deluxe conversion. All components are good quality. We’ve had numerous comments on how good the conversion is.

– Furniture made from laminated lightweight furniture board (grey ash on outside, lime green inside and trim)
– SMEV combined sink/cooker unit with glass lid, 25 Litre removeable water storage tank, gas bottle and gas locker. (Carbon Monoxide Alarm fitted – Cavius CV4002 Mini with 10 year battery- and Gas locker has been modified to comply with Regulations for a Gas Safety Certificate)
– Dometic 12v compressor 50 litre fridge with icebox
– 12v split charge system with control panel with leisure battery (USB-A ports on Control Panel for charging etc.)
– 240v hook up going to 2 x double RCD tripped 3 pin sockets
– 240v to 12v fridge system – means fridge automatically switches between 240v/12v
– 3 seater RIB seat/bed reupholstered in VW Simora fabric with lime green stitch (front seats were new and done in same cloth/stitch). RIB system is much better than other ‘rock and roll’ bed/seat systems, as gives much more rear boot space). This 3 seater is wider than many.
– 4 LED lights of various types
– Curtains plus insulated screen for windscreen and drivers cabin windows

RIB seat that can be quickly transformed into a bed in seconds by flipping over the front and back cushion allowing for a perfectly flat comfortable bed.
Double bed in the pop top takes 150kg, suitable for 2 adults.
We also have a “bunk bed” that goes across the front 2 seats, suitable for a child (up to about 9/10 years old).
