Burns Farm

Overview

Burns Farm is almost 90 years old; it is among one of the oldest working farm sites in the Lake District. Bought back in 1936 by Arthur Lamb it is now managed by the 3rd and 4th generation of the Lamb Family.
Since 2018 Burns Farm has been transformed from a traditional Lakeland Farm Caravan Site into an award-winning Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site with five-star bespoke accommodation with hot tubs, modern amenities, family bell tents, fully serviced caravan pitches and allocated camping nonelectric pitches.
Situated in the heart of the Lake District in the picturesque Valley of St John’s in the Vale, Burns Farm is surrounded by some of the country’s largest mountains, Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathra, but it also has beautiful lowland and river walks, including the Keswick to Threlkeld railway path.
The site is three miles east of Keswick Town & shops, one mile from Threlkeld Village & pubs, 15 miles from the M6 motorway and Β½ a mile from the A66, on a wide road. The nearest lake, Lake Derwentwater is just three miles, making Burns Farm the ideal location to explore the Lake District from your pitch or for a more unique experience stay in a private cabin and take in the breathtakingly beautiful Lake District Mountain scenery with a glass of bubbly, from your hot tub!
