Vehicle Description

2013 Ford Transit Luton MK7 88k Up-plated to 4.2t

It’s time to let my beloved off grid camper go, I’ve been living full time in this home for the last two years, with a two month excursion up the NC500 and other various trips around the UK. If your looking for a camper that has off grid capabilities for months on end then this is the one for you! I built this van with the hopes to buy land and build tiny homes from the van it’s self, so there is plenty of power and water capacity. I’ve done two winters now and haven’t even felt the need to charge the batteries for weeks on end, even through the deep dark winter days! Specs as follows:-

-88k milage
-Recently had MOT done, can re-new
-New break disks all round, also just had the glow plugs replaced.
-Dunlop rear Air suspension kit
-760 watts 2 rigid solar panels
-120L internal fresh water tank (dumping tap under van)
-300ah lithium roamer battery
-1600W multiplus inverter (doubles as a charger but never needed to use)
-Victron 12/12- 30 DC-DC battery charger
-Victron Mttp 150 / 60 solar charger
-Thertord Triplex 700, 3 ring gas hob/grill and oven
-Forcali 10L LPG instant water heater (battery ignition)
-40 Litre underslung LPG tank (holds 30L when full, lasts me 4-6months)
-Vitrifrigo 90 litre fridge freezer
-Boat hatch above the bed for access to the roof
-Large Skylight above kitchen
-Permanent shower room & portable toilet
-Loads of storage, wardrobe space & shelving
-Internal diesel heater with 10L tank (lasts me 2-3 weeks in winter months)
-Fully insulated box with 50mm celotex, and vapour barriers
-Fixed bed above the cab
-Stable style door from a 300 year old cottage
-Stained glass window from old Victorian building
-Built in spice rack with multi coloured LED display
-4 USB slots
-2 x 240 mains sockets
-Tiled counter top with Oak sink cover.
-Custom cupboards with intricate designs
-Hidden wall space storage
-Outside filling points for LPG and Water
-Levelling chocks
-Filling hose

All the yew wood that I’ve used as decor came from a tree that my dad chopped down when I was a kid, some of the nicest looking wood I’ve worked with to date. I convert shepherd huts and vans for a living, so I can assure the quality of the build is to high standards.

I am still using the van occasionally so the milage will still go up! Reduced the price to sell it and I want it to go to someone who will appreciate it just as much as I have done. This van has been up-plated to 4.2t and signed off by the DVLA as a private heavy good vehicle (£165 years Tax). This does mean you’ll need a grandad licence or your C1 to drive it. Cost me around £900 to get mine.
