Typical of our builds, Winnie is full of reclaimed materials, everything is bespoke. The cladding has been painted with VOC safe paint and you can feel this environmentally friendly vibe. As it says on the fridge, “Live gently upon this earth.”
There is a 2kw Planar diesel heater which heats up the van up super efficiently. There is also a maxxfann deluxe vent fan that features a 10speed fan motor, has a remote control and built-in rain cover that can bring cool air on and take hot air out.
There has a fixed 48litres of fresh water tank in the garage space and a 20litre underslung waste tank. The 10litre Surejust electric (700W) immersion tank takes about 20 minutes to heat up water.
Winnie has an outdoor shower point that is perfect for washing muddy dogs or sandy feet. There is a Thetford Port Potti on board that slides out to fit perfectly by the sliding door when the bed is made.
Winnie doesn’t have any gas on board. There is 220ah Lithium battery capacity and Victron technology throughout. The battery can be charged three ways, via a 160W solar panel, through a DC-DC (360W) charger (whilst driving) and when hooked up to mains. Winnie has 2-5+ days off grid capabilities depending on how you use the power, how much sunshine there is and how much you drive. When hooked up to mains you have unlimited power.
Winnie maxes out on storage space.
Come to our workshop to meet us and step inside this camper.
We like the style means that Quirky Campers would approve it for hiring but you must still check that the gas, electrics and weight were done properly. For some tips on what to look out for read this. If the listing has no Gas Safe certificate, no unladen weight and no electrical sign-off please proceed with caution!
Please note: Quirky Campers do not inspect the listings for accuracy or check campervans in person. We have asked sellers to provide evidence of certificates and paperwork however you MUST check yourself that the information provided is present and correct. You will need to exercise the normal due diligence when buying any vehicle.
