The off-grid system has been extensively tested in real-world use. We regularly stayed in rural locations without mains hookup, and the battery never dropped below approximately 80% during one week off-grid, including regular use of the electrical cooking equipment.
The van is equipped with an 800W kettle, 800W induction hob and 3L Instant Pot multi-cooker/pressure cooker, all powered through the electrical system. No gas.
