The van is currently my home and is based in Sussex. I’ll need a little notice to prepare it for viewings. I may also be travelling to Devon over the coming weeks to visit family, so if the timing works, viewings there may also be possible. Please get in touch to discuss.
Professionally converted to an exceptional standard, this premium off-grid camper has been thoughtfully designed to combine beautiful Scandinavian-inspired design with practical, year-round living. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a bright, calm and highly functional space that feels more like a carefully designed tiny home than a traditional campervan.
At the heart of the van is the spacious wraparound rear lounge. Flooded with natural light from the large rear windows, panoramic rear doors and oversized 700 x 500mm Dometic Heki skylight, it feels bright, airy and incredibly welcoming. The premium skylight features an integrated flyscreen and blackout blind, allowing you to enjoy fresh air and additional ventilation while keeping insects out on warm summer evenings. It’s the perfect space to relax, dine, read, work remotely or simply enjoy the view. By night, the lounge converts quickly into a comfortable double bed, allowing the living space to adapt effortlessly throughout the day.
One of the standout features of the layout is its flexibility. Alongside the main table, the van includes a secondary removable table that securely fixes to the rear bench seating. This creates a dedicated dining or workspace without changing the entire lounge layout, giving you multiple configurations to suit remote working, entertaining or everyday living.
Designed for true year-round adventures, the van features a Truma Combi D6E diesel and electric heating and hot water system, providing reliable heating and instant hot water whatever the season. The shower room also benefits from its own heating vent, allowing it to double as a practical drying room for wetsuits, towels and outdoor clothing after a day at the beach or in the mountains.
The kitchen has been designed as a fully gas-free system, using a two ring induction hob rather than LPG. Combined with the Truma heating system, this means there are no gas bottles to refill, replace or store, making ownership simpler, cleaner and ideal for extended touring or full-time living.
A premium Victron electrical system, solar charging, indoor shower, composting toilet and a new Dometic NRX80 compressor fridge/freezer (fitted in 2024) provide everything needed for comfortable off-grid travel.
Perhaps the greatest testament to this conversion is that it has been comfortably lived in full-time by a remote worker for the past four years. This isn’t simply a weekend camper; it’s a layout that has genuinely proven itself as a practical, comfortable and reliable home on wheels. Every aspect of the design has been refined through everyday use, creating a space that works just as well for slow travel and remote working as it does for weekend escapes and European adventures.
The result is a beautifully crafted camper that offers the rare combination of thoughtful design, premium craftsmanship and real-world practicality.
Reason for Sale
After four wonderful years living and travelling in the van while working remotely, it’s simply time for a new chapter. The van has been an incredible home and has taken me on countless adventures, but I’m now looking to settle down and get onto the property ladder. It’s a difficult decision to sell, but I’d love to see it continue its adventures with someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I have.
Designed around a spacious rear lounge, this layout offers far more living space than many fixed-bed campers. By day, it’s a bright and comfortable place to relax, dine or enjoy the view. By night, it converts in minutes into a generous double bed (approximately 175cm x 140cm) sleeping two adults.
