2021 Volkswagen Crafter LWB diesel camper van with 131,117 miles.
The van remains in regular use and is ready to drive away and use immediately.
The van has been used reliably as a full-time home for the past two years and has had substantial recent preventative maintenance completed, including:
– Cambelt, auxiliary belt and water pump replacement
– EGR valve replacement
– New rear brake calipers
– New brakes and discs
– Recent tyres all round
Mechanically the van drives well and has been maintained throughout ownership.
Bodywork is in good overall condition for age and mileage, with expected cosmetic wear consistent with a full-time live-in camper. Exterior finished in Raptor paint.

The van has a cracked DPF which causes an intermittent engine management light. This has not affected drivability or performance during ownership, but repair or replacement should be factored into future plans.
This 2020 VW Crafter LWB has been built for serious off-grid living and has been used as a comfortable full-time home for the past two years. A huge amount of the expensive and time-consuming work has already been completed, including insulation, electrics, plumbing, heating, hot water and solar.
The van is fully insulated with 25mm PIR/Celotex insulation in the floor and 50mm PIR/Celotex insulation in the roof and side walls, with additional Armaflex insulation and moisture barrier throughout the roof and side panels for year-round comfort and condensation control.
The off-grid setup includes:
* 600W solar array
* 300Ah KS Energy battery system
* Victron DC-to-DC charger
* Renogy solar charger
* Webasto diesel air heater (recently serviced)
* Webasto diesel hot water system with heat exchanger
* MaxxAir roof fan
* Heki Lite 2 roof light
Both Webasto systems are plumbed directly into the vehicle’s main diesel tank.
Water and waste systems include a 57L wheel arch fresh water tank, 100L underslung grey waste tank, and separate dry toilet.
The kitchen includes a Thetford Duplex gas oven, two-burner Thetford 922 gas hob, and Vitrofrigo 112L fridge/freezer operating on 12V/24V.
