The T6.1 Highline base vehicle drives like a passenger car, fits in normal parking spaces, returns 35+ mpg, and has the full Highline equipment list. You can drive it on a standard UK category B (car) licence. No HGV or C1 entitlement needed.

Windows (one side window, one roof vent): A single cassette window at the kitchen with built-in pleated blind and flyscreen. Dometic-style, the proper unit, not the cheap sliding-glass alternative most DIY conversions settle for. The window layout is intentionally minimal — better for privacy, warmth and insulation than a glasshouse.
Lighting. Recessed warm-white LED downlighters across the plywood-lined ceiling, plus task spots over the worktop. All on individually-switched circuits.
Storage. Birch ply throughout, with distinctive profile slots running through every panel — these aren’t decorative; they’re decking channels for bungees, hooks, gear organisers and the camping accessories you actually use. Deep under-bed bay with a deliberate clear section sized to accept a portable toilet (Porta-Potti / Thetford 165), a single-burner cooker (Cadac or similar), or whatever else fits your way of using a van.
A longitudinal, two-person pull-out bed on smooth runners. Foam-and-fabric mattress in heavy-duty marine blue. Single-handed fifteen-second conversion — no folding, no flipping, no wrestling with mechanisms. The cushions Velcro to a birch ply frame; bed and bench are the same set of cushions in two configurations.
