Euro 5 engine means its not ULEZ compliant, but saves all the nightmares which are associated with the ad-blue systems.

Body work in good condition, some purely cosmetic marks and scuffs as to be expected, no rust present.

Conversion Description

Ruby is designed to take you exploring the great outdoors whilst giving you the comfort of your own home. The materials used have been carefully selected to create a timeless space that connects with the land around you. From the striking Ash clad ceiling to the sleek curved birch plywood walls and furniture, its been designed and built with a meticulous eye for detail. We hope you love it as much as we do.

The kitchen living area is spacious with a large sink along with a chopping board cover gives plenty of worktop space to keep the chef happy. Pull out 35l fridge with plenty of storage for food. Two burner hob fitted professionally by a gas safe certified plumber.

Utilising all the space possible there is plenty of storage for all of your gear no matter how long you plan to be on the road. The large garage space underneath the bed fits 2-3 bikes and the ceiling surfboard rack can store multiple boards from short to longboards.

With sustainability in mind the van is set up with two 185w solar panels, this generates the necessary power to run the electrical system which includes a 35l fridge and 200w water heater. A more in depth detail of the specification will be outlined below.

The habitation systems include hot water running to the mixer tap in the kitchen and the external shower. This means you can adjust the temperature as you please for both appliances. Storage:

Grab the keys and go, with storage aplenty you can hit that half day Friday with a spring in your step. Organised storage solutions keep your van essentials stowed away neatly, so there’s less time faffing and more time doing the stuff you enjoy. Above the bed you’ll find a cupboard to store plenty of clothes within easy reach and just below you’ll find a book shelf to store your favourite reads always to hand. Throughout the kitchen space there is organised and partitioned drawers to keep everything in its place and a deep drawer containing the fridge with ample food storage surrounding it.
Moving around to the back of the van, we have two deep cupboards either side creating the bed structure, these provide heaps of storage for all of your gear. The garage area, designed for adventure has room for all sorts of kit such as bikes, inflatable paddle boards, surfboards and much more.

Kitchen:

The kitchen space is designed from my experience creating high end bespoke kitchens. From the A grade Birch Ply cabinetry to the Ash used for the worktop and dovetailed drawers. Thoughtful design and attention to detail is at the core of what we do.

A two burner hob, large sink, plenty of counter space and a fridge big enough for lots of fresh food allow you to get creative with your cooking. As well as this we’ve created a nifty little sink chopping board lid to boost worktop space even further.

The drawers run on Blum soft close undermount runners, this means you maximise drawer space and only see the natural beauty of the materials used. The drawer bottoms are lined with cork to provide sound insulation and a natural anti slip surface helping to keep your cookware safe and not rattling around as you drive. In addition to this all the drawers have a very discreet locking system keeping everything in place during transportation down the windiest and steepest roads you can find. One deep drawer has enough space for you pots, pans, bowls, and a hand press espresso machine, above is a partitioned drawer keeping your utensils, plates and mugs organised. Just below the seating area is a big pull out drawer with a 35l compressor fridge and space for dry food storage.

Below the drawers is more storage containing the gas locker, shower components and bin mounted on the door. Below the sink contains the Bobil 10L 200W water heater, 25l freshwater and 25l grey water tanks as well as all the plumbing easily accessible.

Garage space:

Designed to store your toys so adventure is in no short supply. With two bike mounts and space to fit a third in-between if desired, these keep your bikes secure during transit. We’ve fitted a deadlock and floor anchor to the garage area keeping your prize possessions safe. The storage space is versatile and can be adapted to suit your needs, furry friends, water gear, you name it! On the ceiling we have a rack for hanging surfboards, whether they are 6ft or 9ft. The garage space also houses the two 12V 115AH AGM batteries, fuse board, circuit breakers and MPPT controller neatly out of the way.

2no 185w 12v mono crystalline
Renogy 30A MPPT charge controller

Conversion details:
Fully insulated throughout Ruby will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We’ve achieved this by using the best materials available, selected with a high R value and sustainability in mind.
The floor is sound deadened throughout using “Dodo mat DEADN Hex sheet” then insulated using PIR insulation board, with taped joints a ply subfloor topped with cork flooring to achieve a well insulated floor resistant to road noise.
The walls and ceilings have the same sound deadening throughout but use Thermafleece insulation which is created using 95% recycled plastic. It has great insulatory properties as well as being moisture resistant and flame retardant.

Using the highest quality natural materials we aim to create a product that will stand the test of time, and give you memories you won’t forget.
