This van was purchased from new and then immediately converted by ‘Living on a Slant’ in Brighton to high standard.
Sadly, due to a change in personal circumstances we are now offering our beloved van for sale. She has all that you would need to be totally off grid. External features include reversing camera, gas filler, EHU point, combined hot water boiler and heating vent (Truma). On the roof there is 275w of solar panelling, Adjustable Fiamma air fans with fly nets to the front of the living space and another to the rear above the bed area. There is a small Dometic window and integrated blind on driver-side rear door, Ducato specific sliding window with privacy glass and roller blind above the side sliding door and fixed window with privacy glass and roller blind opposite on the driver side. The Van has 16in alloy wheels with standard tyres. There is a Fiamma awning attached to the top passenger side of the van (above sliding door), this also enables you to add sides and a front if desired (not included).

Internally the van is bespoke finished to high standard with all units being hand made and sporting oak worktops and oak trimmed fixtures. There is a full width slatted double bed across the rear with memory foam mattress. This bed raises with the aid of gas shocks to reveal one rectangular (driver side) and one long (passenger side) storage space underneath which fits 4x Ikea type large storage boxes and additional shallow storage above where the fridge freezer is located. Kitchen area comprises a rectangular chrome sink with pull-out spray mixer tap, a tiled splashback and storage cabinet underneath. An integrated Dometic 80ltr electric fridge with freezer compartment, Thetford gas oven/grill with 3 ring hob, large under oven draw for pots and pans, two large under counter pull out drawers each with an integrated handmade ‘hidden’ draw for cutlery and other items. During an extended power cut at home we’ve even cooked a full roast chicken Sunday dinner in this van!

Seating is provided by two front-locking swivel ‘captains chair’ front seats which rotate to face towards the rear and a table which swivels out from behind the driver seat providing ample space for dinner, working or board games.

The bathroom area comprises a shower tray with mixer tap. portable toilet, extractor fan, dimmable LED light, heating vent, roller shower door and hanging space for wet/dry items making an excellent drying space for those wetter days out!

There is a removable black metal wire opening gate which can be locked into place between the kitchen unit and passenger door preventing your beloved pet or even young children from getting out of the sliding door when it is open.

All control panels for heating, hot water, lights, extractor fan and power are located within the living area on the passenger side wall above the worktop. The Truma combined LPG water heater and central heating unit is located under the bed storage area with LCD control panel adjacent to the solar panel and extractor fan controls. There is ‘white oak’ effect wooden flooring throughout the living area. To the rear of the van there is an under bed garage area also finished throughout in ‘white oak’ flooring.

Under the van there is an underslung LPG tank (standard UK bayonet filler point with EU adaptor to driver side rear), a 60L insulated fresh water tank with automatic de-frost element and 60L greywater tank. Both tanks have easy open emptying hoses. A level gauge for both tanks is adjacent to the controls in the living area. Water pump is to the rear of the van close to the filler point.

To the passenger side rear is a lockable water filler point and to the drivers side rear there is the EHU point.

Full Victron electrical set up including the ‘Multiplus 12v 1600’ inverter, ‘Orion TR Smart DC-DC charger’ for charging from the vehicle alternator as well as when the van is plugged into 240v hook-up, ‘Smart Solar Controller’ for solar charging, fuses etc and single 200Ah Lithium leisure battery. Popular mobile phone apps are available for the Victron components and Lithium battery plus the Victron is accessible via web browser when connected to mobile or home wifi.

The living space has 12 and 240v sockets with integrated USB and a separate dual USB socket close to the table. USBs are also integrated into two adjustable brightness ‘bendy’ sleeping lights at each side of the bed. There is a triangular shelf to one side of the bed and ceiling mounted 1080p HD projector with HDMI, an Amazon firestick and roll-down white screen. All LED ceiling lights are touch activated and dimmable. There is also a touch activated LED strip light under the top storage cupboard and a Carbon Monoxide detector mounted above the sliding door.

Internal to the passenger side rear door is a shower socket for outside pet or boot washing. The main insulation throughout is 50mm Celotex with a moisture barrier and additional underlay for the flooring. ceiling is strip oak wood and there’s also additional storage above the driving cab. There are Fiat Ducato specific pull out privacy blinds integrated to both front door windows and another which pulls across the front window. Central heating vents are at ground level and located in the living area facing towards the seats, facing the shower, within the shower area and in the garage area ensuring that all areas of the van are warmed. The room thermostat is located above the kitchen worktop and is set from the nearby control panel.

There’s a dashboard button to lock/unlock all doors from inside without also setting the alarm.

Also comes with a set of levelling ramps for when parking on uneven ground, a shower hose and head for the rear-facing shower point, front-facing aftermarket dashcam, fresh water and greywater extending hoses, 30m EHU lead with UK 3-pin adapter and integrated alarm fob key and additional spare key.

Space for a pet bed or even a 3rd berth is achievable across side to side towards the front of the living space. We have the original dual-passenger seat and so the vehicle can easily be turned back into a 3-seat / 3- berth should it be desired.

Note that Flo is classified as a panel van and we’ve not applied to DVLA for a change in classification as we prefer the plain white exterior rather than put graphics on both sides. From research it is unlikely that without graphics DVLA would approve the change. however, the van meets the requirements in all other respects and so should the new owner wish to apply then all the van needs is your choice of decal applied.
