Basic Vehicle History:
The base vehicle was leased directly from VW leasing to a shower tray manufacturer and had an easy life as a delivery van. The conversion was carried out in 2020 and for the past year has been owned by a doctor and used for occasional accommodation whilst on call. As such it is in excellent condition and looks as good as when first converted.
The van comes with a full service history with the first 4 years of services carried out by VW and the most recent service has just been carried out by a local garage.
The cam belt and water pump were changed at around 135k miles and the van has just had new rear brake discs and pads as well as hand brake shoes.
The overall condition is excellent both inside and out..
The Van has been fitted with Dead locks on all 4 doors for additional security and includes Cat 2 Thatcham immobiliser.

The van is kitted out with the highest quality appliances and services, that include:

The first thing you will notice is the amount of space and storage the interior has. Even though it has 4 primary areas: bedroom, kitchen & lounge/office (also turns into an extra bed) and a unique indoor shower and bathroom.

One of the standout areas of this conversion is the kitchen and work top space.
1.8m oak worktop runs across the driver’s side of the van. depth is 600mm the aforementioned items consist of appliances including:

-Sink Thetford argent counter sunk with glass cover which can be used as extra work top

This section is where a lot of the main van services are stored. These include:
• 6kg Propane Gas tank
• Victron inverter charger + solar control, Bluetooth link

• 12V and 240V Fuse boards

Cab Area:
This van has been converted into a double, with two single seats.
The bulkhead has been removed and a walk way has been installed, this has been done so you can gain access to the van from the Cab. A shelve above the cab has also been added for additional storage, this was due to practicality, to maximize storage and reduce the weight of the van.

Although a LWB it is extremely easy to drive, being a VW.
The Cab has had a brand-new sound system installed, including 9’’ Alpine touch screen head unit with DAB, Bluetooth and built in Sat Nav. It has also had a new reversing camera fitted that links up to the Alpine stereo and rear parking sensors
There is storage under the passenger seat.
Summary:
This van is a second home, but on wheels, a lot cheaper & with no stamp duty. You have the benefit of going all over the UK and once international travel starts again the whole of Europe. Not to mention the potential to add an additional income as this van could be rented out in the summer easily for £800-1000 per week.
Our previous project was brought to not only be used for adventures but also as an addition to a house, i.e. like a spare room (for guests use, office space, lounge etc) instead of waiting months for expensive house extension or go through the hassle of moving house.
