Conversion Description

Our custom camper van conversion “Ozzy” is looking for a new loving adventurous home. “Ozzy” is a beatifully renovated, stealth, off-grid van conversion, with attention to detail and quality finishes throughout. It is in great condition with low mileage and high spec ready for exploring!

Electrics
For “Ozzy” there are 3 ways to in put energy to ensure a fully off grid electrical system, which is stored on 2x 120amp Xtreme AGM batteries located in the garage area. We have broken the 3 ways down below:

Solar:
2x 160w = 320w Photonic Universe monocrystalline solar panels have been mounted on the roof, these are connected firstly to a double pole isolator switch so that they can be turned off, this then leads to the Epever MPPT solar charge controller which then links to the batteries. There is also installed an MT50 display unit which is located on the control panel in the living space when you enter the van for easy reading.

Battery to Battery:
There is a Renogy DC- DC charger of 20 amp so that when the van is running the batteries are getting charged, this comes with a thermometer which connects to the battery to regulate the temperature to protect the lifespan of the AGM batteries.

Mains hook up:
The final way to charge the batteries is through the mains hook up inlet situated on the sliding door side externally. This enables you to easily hook up at any campsite or domestic outlet and the Victorn Energy Blue Smart charger, 30amp uses mains power to charge the batteries.

A Kriëger 1500w Inverter was installed to allow standard household appliances like a laptop charger to be used when off grid, and a double plug is above the table for easy use.

A 12 way fuse board powers:
– 2x Fiamma Turbo Premium Vent 40 located in the front above the kitchen and the back above the bed, with push and pull air functions creates circulating air cooling the van.
– DC 50 Compressor fridge /freezer
– 3x double USB ports spread out around the interior
– Shurflo Trail Kimg 7 Water Pump
– Propex HS2000 heater
– 6 LED lights spread out in the ceiling of the van
– Strip LED lights, running underneath the cupboards with a remote to select a colour theme and function to suit your mood, adds a lovely glow in the evening.
– 2 individually controlled Reading Lights, just above the bed for easy access.
– 1 garage light which illuminates the whole space for good visibility at night.
– Digital battery indicator – this displays battery charge and voltage

There is a mains shut off switch which turns off the complete system immediately.

Plumbing
There is a 55L fresh water tank with isolators and drain valve, this leads on to the water filter pump, then the Shurflo Trail king 7 water pump and the Fiamma A20 expansion tank. This serves the sink, and the shower (located in the garage area), great for washing muddy dogs and sandy feet. There are also 2 hooks fitted on the back doors where a shower curtain could be set up for privacy. There is also an underslung grey water tank that holds 40L with accessible drain valve. When out and about in the winter months, there is a Propex HS2000 heater, so that you can warm up the inside within no time, it also comes with a digital display unit mounted above the table for easy access. This is fuelled from a gas canister located in a gas-safe unit under the hob in the kitchen area, with drop vent for circulation (the gas system has gas safety approval).

Kitchen
The kitchen has been customised in order to utilise all the space wisely. There is a beautiful solid oak worktop with a Belfast sink which adds to the high end feel of the interior. The teal tiles used as a splash back provide a burst of colour and modernity. There is a built in DC 50 Compressor fridge/freezer, a pull out kitchen tap and a filter tap when out in the wilderness. Mounted on the worktop is a double gas hob.

Living area/ Bedroom
This includes 2 bench seats, with 3 inch memory foam, which can be converted into the third bed. Under the bench by the door is a designated space for a toilet with side opening access and the other bench houses the heating system and extra storage space. There is a solid oak pull out table for comfortable dining. The large fixed double bed at the back of the van, has a 3 inch memory foam mattress designed to be used with a mattress topper which can be removed and washed.

Storage
“Ozzy” has been purposefully designed with huge various types of storage! The wrap around kitchen has ample space for food, and kitchen accessories, including a large space above the cab. All along the drivers side there are 5 overhead cupboards with self holding hinges and magnet closures, finished with a stylish rattan face to encourage ventilation throughout. The benches have flexible space with easy access from the top and side. The garage has also been deliberately left as spacious as possible including access through the hatch area, this is to allow space for dogs, kayaks, bikes, equipment etc which makes it an ideal conversion for adventures.

Insulation
The van is fully insulated with 50mm Recticel Insulation board where possible, 25mm Recticel and Earthwool insulation in the difficult places, as well as sealing all voids with expanding foam. A vapour barrier/breather membrane has been used throughout.

The van is also fully sound deadened with Dodo Sound Deadening.

Beds Description
