Always starts first time and runs great.
MOT until November 2024 with no advisories.
Good condition and very clean for the age. Back door has a bit of bubbling around the handle area which I have tried to show in the photos.
The van was owned by a mobile lorry mechanic who worked across Europe and he seemed to take old care of it. I was told he used to service the van himself hence no service history.
The conversion –
Very homely and cosy with beautiful decor, -everyone who walks past wants to come and look at it. The kitchen unit is a real Victorian Credenza.

Simple electrics that you will be able to work on yourself, should you need to.
The leisure battery charges as you drive. Once it’s charged it will comfortably last 3 days with regular spotlight use, phone charging etc before you’ll need to take a 30 minute drive to charge it back up.
If you use a 12v cool box then this will drain the battery quicker.
I didnt put a side window in it because a some people feel safer without one and also it means you’re more discreet.
If you want a window I can recommend a window fitter. He charges around £300 and it takes him 30 minutes to fit it.

Full size fixed double bed.
I used thinner insulation at the head and foot of the bed to make the bed is full length (6 foot 2). Most other Mercedes sprinters will have a short bed.
