Renault Master LWB
Excellent condition, despite a minor dent above the back left wheel which has been covered up. Similarly, the engine is also in very good condition. This van used to be used for transporting stationary, meaning it never had to travel too far or put any strain on the vehicle. It has an MOT until January 2023. Additionally, it is very easy to drive.
Engine: 2299cc. Fuel: Diesel. No of gears: 6. MPG:36.2
Converted in 2021, this camper has been built using mainly reclaimed materials such as pallet wood. The character of this van is created by rustic wood cladding along with red undertones throughout. This pallet wood cladding has been washed and sanded, ensuring it is smooth to the touch. There’s an ‘L’ shaped bench providing a surprising amount of seating, along with a lot of free floor space for additional seating.
KITCHEN: A marine ply counter top ensures for resilience and a lot of cooking/prepping space. Sunk into the marine ply is a dual burner gas hob, which is yet to be hooked up to gas, but is fully functioning. Countersunk into the marine ply is a rustic metal sink, accompanied by a chrome tap to provide fresh water from the 25l tank beneath the sink, a long with a twinning 25l grey water tank. The tap is powered by a 12v electric pump, which is plugged into a 12v cigarette port. Adjacent to the deep zinc sink is a tiled backsplash, providing contrast and an abundance of colour, whilst protecting the wood behind. Furthermore, there is an opening window along with a MaxX fan for maximum ventilation whilst cooking. In terms of storage, there’s 4 large cupboards with shelves and a drawer to store ingredients of any sort.
ELECTRICS: Everything is wired professionally by VanHaus in this vehicle. 6 touch sensitive lights running across the ceiling of the van enable the van to be well lit at all times, along with an LED strip below the counter and bench for ambient lighting. A MaxX air fan provides great ventilation and temperature control . Located in the closet is a 12v lighter port and a voltmeter, as well as a dual USB port on top of the closet-next to the bed. There’s also a 12v electric cooler, which runs off another 12v port, accessible via another cabinet beneath the bench to keep perishable goods cool. All of the above is powered by a 110 amp hour leisure battery, which can be charged by driving or by a battery charger, provided with the van. This leisure battery and its charging accompaniments are housed beneath the closet. In terms of 240v, an external hookup below the body of the vehicle supplies 1 singular 240v socket in the closet as well as another 2 sockets and 2 USBs at the end of the bed. It also powers a singular light above the kitchen, triggered when any door opens to provide immediate light.
STORAGE: Below the bed is a vast area to stow bikes or anything else. Across the whole van, there’s 6 cupboards and one drawer, along with a lot of space above the bulkhead. The closet has a wooden rail at the top to hang clothes.
INSULATION AND DEADENING: To keep the van warm year round and sustainably built, 40mm sheep’s wool lines every panel, with a breathable vapour barrier over the top to prevent condensation getting at it. Recycled plastic bottle insulation has been used in the ribs of the van . Furthermore, sound deadening lies underneath this insulation to keep the van as a quiet space. Underneath the laminate flooring is a layer of foil insulation.
WINDOWS AND NATURAL LIGHT: There’s two large windows in the van – one by the kitchen on the driver’s side that opens, and one at the foot of the bed. Both of which have curtains. The MaxX vent also lets in natural light.
LIVING AREA: The large ‘L’ shaped bench is completed with thick memory foam and fake suede, making it a comfortable place to relax, and making it more of a sofa than a bench. This also has storage under it.
BULKHEAD/CAB ACCESS: A large pallet wood bulkhead separates the cab and the living space, except for a doorway equipped with a curtain, allowing easy access to the cab.
There is a 135cmW x 180cmL bed located at the rear of the vehicle, which has a comfy 15cm thick memory foam mattress. This bed is elevated off the floor to ensure ventilation of the mattress. Despite not being as large as a traditional bed, it does not compromise on comfortability as you may still extend fully, even if not perfectly vertically. At the foot of the bed, there’s a large window to allow natural light and good views.Underneath, there’s a large space for storage or, optionally, a child’s mattress.
